Build Guide
Full pet build using the Rathma Set. (Work in Progress) - Check back for updates!
Tested at P800, GR 80 Cleared with ease, also a great beginner build for S11. Also unlike most rathma builds this one super tanky and huge pet dps!
Huge 200K + Life regen per second! So you regain all your health pool super quick in like 3-4 secs!
Get essence rolls on weapon and paragon for more dps from Shadow hook in cube. 0.5 damage boost per 1 point , the cap is 310 essence.
Essence is generated super quick from Shadow Hook in cube and ofc bone spikes.
On this build you can push forward through mobs and hunt down the elites for faster progression, rather just hanging back killing all trash, be in the thick of combat, so your stuns from bonespikes, dizzing curse proc your ancient APD Bracers for massive toughness boost in 20 yards!
Rotation is, Bone Armour! get those 10 stacks up asap for defence (30%) and the HUGE healing regen!, command skeletons to get the 400% damage bonus!, Decrepify to debuff (80% DR 30s) MAGES! Alternate between bonespikes and mages and get 10 out asap for full damage , once at 10 mages spam bone spikes to ramp your essence to 100% to recast mages that will be super charged lich lords! and BOOM!
Changed Simulacrum to Frailty scent of blood for better overall dps , just better overall clears this method , and no waiting for 120s cooldown on Simulacrum, also SM passive can be changed for Draw Life passive, was hitting 500k Life regen per 1s !
Capable of going GR100+ once geared correctly.

Have fun in sanctuary !

I am rolling with this build on Xbox One and wow, it is FUN to play. It takes some time to get use to, I will say that, because all 6 buttons are in play on a regular cadence so I have to get familiar with that. I really like how this build does well against the big elites as well as the mobs. As long as I keep everything Decrified I live... if I don't then I die... fun build, nice work. I look forward to your new video and taking this build to the max to see where I can end up!

Question - Have you given any thought of swapping out the Endless Walk set for a Hellfire and COE ring? Seems like you get MORE offense with that setup. You can pick an additional defensive passive on the amulet. The only thing you really give up is some defense when you are running around. I typically never come close to dieing when I am running around, its always when I am standing still and something zaps me.
I was thinking something similar. Could you swap out EW set for Kalan's and a CoE? A little less dmg reduction while moving, but huge dmg potential during the physical cycle, or would a Hellfire with an extra passive be better than Kalan's?
Update 15/07/17 New gameplay video added, also contains glass cannon setup.
You mentioned that if you get enough AS on your gear you switch from Swift Harvesting passive to Spreading Malediction. What is the amount of AS that you think is enough to do that?
Your priorities above for paragon had primary stat #1, but on your video you had it in vit and not int. What is the thought here? What life should we try to get to prevent the heavy hitters and crowds from coming close to killing us instantly and allow the regen to do its thing?
I'm testing this out to prep for new season starting build and I find the mechanics to be awkward for me given previous builds played as a casual. I find that after a sequence of getting mages up and moving on to next area that I don't have enough essence to start the next sequence instantly (commands and 2 curses). So as you mention I want to always be applying decrepify moving forward and command the first solid target, but I always seem to leave a scene with little to know essence. Clearly I am not using the mechanics well, but can't figure out exactly how.
will have to test this one out for sure i followed your builds for the witch doctor and loved them
Is anyone else playing this on the XboxOne platform? I played and cleared GR88 last night but I seem to be close to a wall. I am only paragon 800ish so maybe that makes sense. My gear is pretty solid at this point with some room for improvement but NO WAY could I ever sneeze on 100. I am HIGHLY doubtful I can get to 95 at this point. I do think I will get 90 with better rolled gear and everything augmented but the difference between 88 and 89 was startling to me.
Just wondering if other XboxOne users are seeing something similar or if I am missing something. I love the build, tons of fun to play. Seems like there was a LOT of ground effect spells tearing me apart on 89 with lots of arcane lazers. Its almost to the point where I am thinking about strapping on the ammy that turns that into healing! LOL
Great build. Hope to hear from other console users on this.
Ok, I made another go at it today at lunch and all I can guess is that I drew a couple of BAD GRs yesterday because I cleared GR89 and GR90. While it wasn't easy there is definitely room to climb even on the XboxOne. I am going to work on tweaking some gear and seeing if I can't climb to 95+ and get my Gems leveled up! I don't have XboxLive so I currently only play solo or with someone at my house. Hence, all my gem levels are home made as well as items so it takes time to put it all together! Thanks for the build, really like it.
Spent quite a bit of time tweaking my gear last night and then cleared GR 91 and 92 with little difficulty and zero deaths. Got to say this build is a lot of fun to play as it is a very active game-play-style on the console where you can't use a NUM LOCK trick to auto cast anything. All 6 of my buttons are actively being pressed on a regular cadence which keeps me very involved in the game play. I am pumped to see how high of a GR I can run this up to on the XboxOne. 92 is the highest I have ever been with any character I have made thus far so that is pretty awesome. I don't have a gold membership so I only play local on my console.
I tried out a couple of the skill setup variants mentioned by others in this thread and I ended up coming back to the skill setup posted here in the OP. There really isn't any room to do much on account that everything listed here is really needed to push higher. If you don't bring the heavy damage, you have zero chance of killing fast enough to keep up with the timer. This becomes a bigger issue than toughness IMO. If you can't kill fast enough it doesn't matter if you are alive or dead...
I plan on trying to push up higher later today. I will let you all know how I fair with this. Hopefully I can clear 95 today. The biggest difference I see playing on the console vs the CPU is that it is very hard to lock onto the bosses to kill them on the console. If the screen is filled with guys trying to get my mages and skeletons to attack a certain enemy can be a total nightmare. Any suggestions on how to best do this would be appreciated.
Played at lunch time. Did GR 93, 94 and 95 with zero deaths. 95 started to get pretty slow again and sometimes took nearly FOREVER to kill a few bosses. I do believe I can go higher! - I should include that I am paragon 870.
What prefixes on bosses aren't worth the trouble for this build, does anyone know?
I will report back when I get to play next. Now that I have hit 95 (former highest with a character was 87) my new goal is GR 100... No idea if that is possible or not as I am far from an expert gamer plus I still think its a lot harder on the consoles because targeting a particular guy is nearly impossible.
