Build Guide
Overview
This build is basically the old Hammerdin build, which got buffed significantly through the introduction of the new weapon, Faithful Memory. It is very squishy and relies on high attack speed, high density and good maneuvering to survive, but has really strong damage output that will rival the LoN Thorns Crusader. It’s mostly aimed at pushing solo, however it can be used in group as well as a weaker replacement for a WD or Monk.
Itemization
We need the full Seeker of the Light set, Johanna’s Argument, Guard of Johanna, Gabriel’s Vambraces and the Sacred Harness. You should aim to have a good amount of CDR, the more the better, while still keeping up your defenses and stacking crit chance / damage and elemental damage on every piece possible. You need some form of life recovery, which should be preferably life per hit on your weapon or maybe life per wrath spent on weapon or shield, or both.

Playstyle
Generally you are well-advised to play defensively, because especially in the beginning with little practice it can be difficult to survive. Keep up your 4pc bonus as well as the Faithful Memory stacks by using Falling Sword on a big pack of monsters, then stand still and start hammering if you can. In case you are fighting some really dangerous elites, you should consider stutter-stepping to get the defensive buff of your Endless Walk set, and then go back to standing still once you are safe again. Keep up Akarat’s Champion as much as possible, activate the law on cooldown and spam provoke every 1-2sec to refill your wrath, because you will go down to zero very quickly. In situations where you take heavy damage, you have to make sure you dodge properly while still keeping up the attacks, because without your life per hit or life per wrath spent you will barely have any healing and just die anyway. To optimize your damage on elites a little, you can try to influence where your hammers are spawning by moving your cursor over them and standing close for the additional value from the bracers.
Variations
For extreme fishing or when you are higher paragon with more defense, you can start replacing some of your defenses with offensive options. Changing one of the passives to Blunt or the law to Laws of Valor – Critical are some options. You can also try to get a little bit of area damage instead of CDR or just as a bonus on your shoulders, weapon, shield or rings, which will make clearing out some density much quicker.
Yes, with potato gear and low paragon Unity is definitely a good option as well
