Build Guide

Tal Rashas DD Build for Patch 2.4.2 focusing on short-timed Burst Damage.


Howto:

  • Have Archon Stacks from The Swami overlapping
  • Build up 4 Tal Rashas 6pc Stacks
  • Build up 4 Explosion Stacks
  • Build up 20 Chantodo's Stacks
  • Build up 10 Taeguk Stacks
  • Hit Black Hole 4 Seconds before Cold CoE
  • Hit Archon at the Moment CoE goes to Cold
  • Spam Archon Abilities for 8 Seconds
  • Move on

Notes:

  • 4 Arcane Power on Crit on Offhand is very important (doesnt show in stat priorities)
  • Overall CDR needs to be above 55%, preferably above 58%.
  • Area Damage is not super important here, since your strongest Bursts will come from Chantodo's. However, your Archon Skills do benefit from it, so i recommend having at least 2-3 Area Damage rolls on your Gear.
  • This is the full DPS Setup with Taeguk. It synergizes great with the Build and gives a MASSIVE dmg increase for the first 1,5 Seconds of the Burst, but if you experience toughness issues, it can be switched out for Esoteric Alteration for much better survivability.

Skill Variants:

  • "Flame Ward" Arcane Torrent & "Flash" Explosion: Better Survivability but Arcane Power Troubles on Single Target Bosses.
  • Magic Weapon Deflection: Imo the most useful Rune, but not mandatory. Can be changed to another Rune/Armor etc.

I've tested this Build on PTR mostly in 2s (with Supp Monk) GR 85-90 with unoptimized Gear, 5 non-ancients, 80ish augments and Para 1600.
