The option to choose Dogs + Serpent over Piranado + Cat serves to offer a choice between initial damage mitigation vs consistent damage reduction.
Piranado + Cat will allow for more CC control and 1 shot prevention from large first hits, however Dogs + Serpent provides better build synergy in the form of Jeram, T&T, Midnight Feast and Bane of the Trapped, as well as allowing you to mitigate longer periods of damage (from say Elites or Rift Guardian), where cat becomes useless. Choice basically equates to: Fish vs consistency.

On weapon: area damage > dmg% > int > CHD (SMK only) > IAS
Ideal ring: area damage, CHD, CHC, socket. Problem is, good luck rolling an ancient, so take what you can get.
Go for BIG groups. Pull enemies into a big group and clump them with nado. Garg's cleave + area damage procs will clear it out.
Also, replace Jungle Fort with Grave Injustice. Use GI to remove cooldown on gargs. Once you've clumped a big group of enemies, summon your gargs right in the middle.

Posted Jul 6, 2016Really interesting builds you got. But I have got an curious question, which is better between this one and the Helltooth one??
I notice on the top leaderbuilds everyone is Helltooth. This build looks like it could be just as good but you would only know once you made the effort to put it together and test it at its full potential.
