Hello Everyone!
Gukill here and I'm back (I'm sure you're thinking who am I and was I ever gone?) this season to dish out some punishment with the Demon Hunter class after spinning for days with the Barbarian last season.
... And my class choice has gotten me some confused looks. Why Demon Hunter THIS season? Why would you want to play a class so clearly inferior to Monk's and Barbarian's? Why invest all your time into this?
I'll tell (and show you) why - It's fun and deals a TRUCKLOAD of damage.
I've listed the gear priorities (with alternatives for those lacking the total 6 pieces of the set and need to know what to put in place of the missing item) but here is the basics of the build:
*6 Piece is MANDATORY - Do NOT bother with this build if you do not have the 6 piece set!
*Maximum Discipline on Weapon/Quiver/Cloak is an absolute must for maximizing damage. If you do not have this, ROLL TO IT ASAP!
*Multishot - Arsenal is your spammable spender - use it, and use it frequently. When you run low, use Evasive Fire and/or Bat Companion to regenerate your hatred. Blood Vengeance is amazing for regen as well.
*Ensure you are balancing Evasive Fire with Multishot so your Focus/Restraint buffs do not fall off.
*The farther away from mobs you are, the more damage you deal! Use vault, and use it FREQUENTLY!
*Keep an eye on your buff bar for Convention of Elements. When the buff is on Cold, use Evasive Fire a few times (to maximize the Cold % Damage increase, I've seen as high as 500M Crits) and then get ready to pump out the Multishot because FIRE is next!
This is the build I primarily use when blasting through Torment 7 to Torment X rifts (depending on the group/solo) and its crazy efficient and deals a ton of damage.
For the sake of showing the spec & class capability, I've posted a video with an elaborate explanation, as well as a Torment X rift as a demonstration.
**If your Hellfire Amulet rolls with one of the above Passive's, replace that passive with Steady Aim or Archery (depending on your preference.)**
Alternative Legendary Gems:
Iceblink is a great gem with a built in slow and at Rank 25, offers 10% increased Crit Chance on enemies.
Bane of the Stricken is great if you feel you need that extra MMPH on Rift Guardians (or Bosses for Bounties)
Alternative Skills:
Steady Aim (Passive) is great to replace Blood Vengeance if you feel fine for hatred without globe regen.
Companion (Wolf) is a great damage cooldown if you feel your hatred regen is fine.
Vengeance (Seethe) is another great cooldown which allows you for the duration to have constant hatred regen (= Multishot Spam)
Smokescreen (Displacement) is a great alternative for Vault with lower mobility, but better survivability.
Kanai's Cube Alternative Options:
Weapon: Thunderfury (For Bane Procs & Slow), Solanium (For Health Globes), Mad Monarch's Scepter (for AoE)
Armor: Pride's Fall (If no Cindercoat), Reapers Wraps (Extra Regen from Health Globes), Harrington's Waistguard (Opening Chest Dmg %)
Jewellery: Royal Ring of Grandeur (if lacking 6 set, or wishing to use Leoric's/Hexing Pants), Unity (for Damage Reduction), Obsidian Ring (if using alternative cool down skills such as Vengeance)

I currently have 79 Discipline with this build.
Currently 79 Dici, and usually i dont check for Builds online but i wanted to see if theres any faster UE-DH Build than mine.
I created a 95% similar Version of this Build, but i use Pride's Fall instead of Cinder aswell as Vault/Tumble (for even more Vault spamming). If you have movement, and don't get hit "often/at all", this is the best Option imo. At least if we are talking about speed farming. Do either 3 Vaults with Pride/Tumble Rune, or do 2 Vaults with Cinder/Trails of Cinder Rune. The only down side, is that you really gotta watch out not to get hit, with Pride's Fall.
Pride's Fall has 30% reduction while not being hit.
Cindercoat has 30% reduction constantly to fire skills whether you are being hit or not.
Because Trail of Cinders is a Fire spell, Cindercoat reduces the cost as well. This makes it more cost effective than Vault/Tumble.
Pride's Fall is definitely the best if you don't have Cindercoat cubed.
Thats partly correct, but "Tumble" reduces the costs of the 2. Vault by 50%, thats why its 3 Vaults instead of 2 Vaults, the latter when using Cinder. Plus i said for Speedfarming Prides Fall is better, in Grifts 60+ Cinder might be better.... but Prides Fall also works with every Smokescreen Rune. It is a matter of playstyle and movement i guess, but in T10 Speedruns Prides Fall is the better choice... unless you get hit, but DH's shouldnt get hit anyway.
Pride's Fall is maybe .1% better costs for Vaulting (which is never an issue for cost if you are using Evasive Fire properly.) And you have to NOT get hit to maintain it. Chances are you are going to stand for .5 of a second in plague as you are rushing along, or getting hit by a bug. It happens.
Cindercoat is constantly running. No matter what. Cindercoat is overall a superior choice : /
In Grifts Cinder can be better (except if someone uses Smokescreen instead of Vault), yes.
But T10/T10 Rift are softcore, the Monster have small life pools.
3 Vaults for the same costs of 2 Vaults do make a difference in terms of speed, and i dont get hit unless i dont pay any attention.
Look into Krelm's Buff Belt to get 25% more speed when not hit.
absolutley glass cannon, doing 1.8 million unbuffed but get 1 shotted by normal mobs in t10,there is no defense at all
