Build Guide
Many people may have overlooked the fact that Sunwuko's set increases the damage of Exploding Palm by 500% for 3 seconds after one of your Sunwuko's clones explodes. This build is an attempt to maximize Exploding Palm damage for maximum destruction!
This build relies on Shenlong's Relentless Spirit set that has 2 effects in this build: 1) It increases the damage of your spirit generators by 1% for each point of spirit you have, and you will be using spirit generators to get the Focus/Restraint combo going. 2) The 300% damage buff to ALL Damage once you reach full spirit.
You will use Seven Sided Strike (SSS for future usage) to spread EP with the help of the Mad Stone spirit stone, and to deal a boat load of damage with the 4 piece Uliana's set. Also, SSS has the ability to make you invincible while the animation happens. Also, the new Monk Belt called Binding of the Lost gives you a 3-3.5% damage reduction for each hit of Seven Sided Strike. This should help mitigate damage after coming out of SSS.
The missing pieces of gear from above are to be filled with Uliana's Chest, Uliana's Pants, and Uliana's boots. The belt will be the new 2.3 available Binding of the Lost.
Your Weapon Passive should be Fist of Az'Turrasq for 100% EP Damage, Depth Diggers Passive for 100% Damage (which works well with Simplicity's Strength Gem) or you could use the Spirit Guards passive (40% Dmg Reduction after Spirit Generator) for more surivability, and the Jewelry Passive must be Ring of Royal Granduer.
A 5th Passive if you want to get a Hellfire Amulet, wear the Sunwuko's Crown and make Mad Stone your armor passive and skip Depth Diggers armor passive you could have many choices, including Alacrity, Seize the Initiative, Unity for Group Play, or Exalted Soul. There can be several different passives that will be useful depending on your play style.
As soon as I can get on to 2.3 PTR and get the Uliana's pieces I need for this, I will test, record a video, and add a video link. Please tell me your thoughts below. Thank you!
