Legendary Gems
- Wrists is Mortick's Brace (If blizzard do not return it will be a serious blow to the survival)
Wrath of the Berserker will spin without paying attention to control.
Whirlwind basic skills (you can stick tape button, because the cry does not interrupt it).
Battle Rage spends fury (cdr Wrath of the Berserker and healing done, tap tap tap tap ;-) )
Call of the Antsients with the Ancients' Fury and Weapons Master (IK hammer) will give us the fury
In theory, attack speed increases the number of tornadoes (
Skill Rune - Dust Devils
Dust Devil spawn rate now scales with your Attack Speed
Dust Devils now travel in a more predictable path
(6) Set Bonus
Whirlwind gains the effect of the Dust Devils rune and the damage of the Dust Devils is increased to 2500% weapon damage )
As the tornado causes weapon damage, take one-handed weapon is no reason, it is best to pull the attack speed at the expense of the legendary jewels. Bul-Kathos Oath will not help, because we lose infinite Wrath of the Berserker

RIP in peace Mortik's Brace...
when u remove bul khatos fury is not enough for ww
Yeah this is a nice build but without BK weaps your also losing 30% movment speed and 30% IAS. Thats alot of tornades gone and a slow barb.
Not true. You're forgetting about perma-wrath which gives 20% movement speed and 25% attack speed. Add on 10% increased crit and 50% damage increase at all times, you're gaining far more than you're losing.
Healing, yes, CDR, no. The 4 set of IK specifically says that attacks are required to reduce the CDs so battle rage does not reduce the CDs of the Ancients and Wrath. Only Rend and WW would reduce it in this build, which is more than enough.
BK's Oath and WotB stack, therefore you will do more damage and move faster with BK than without, not to mention without Mighty Weapons you lose 2 Fury Per Hit.
Two interesting observations. On the first: simple math, talent generates 2 rage per swing (rather than reduce the cost of abilities, because we need to spend rage as much as possible) so Whirlwind will cost 8 Fury (virtually, tick -10, and +2) the ancient give each hit us 4 rage, hence only two ancient can support infinite Whirlwind.
The second remark: BK is super, but if we take it we will lose infinite Wrath of the Berserker (due to failure of 3 IK with Ring of Royal Grandeur).
A little more math: ((Main Hand APS * 1.15) + (Offhand APS * 1.15)) * 1/2 = 1,495 for BC, while IK hammer 1, BK will still 1,943 plus 30%, and IK hammer with Wrath of the Berserker 1.25, 0.69 difference is big, but do not forget that the damage does weapon damage in the main hand (there are ways to even the loss of one-handed and two-handed), but then again we lose Wrath of the Berserker, and this is something that will help to avoid ground control (ground control = stop dmg)
Very reasonable remark. I completely forgot about the "Set:
Reduce the cooldown of Wrath of the Berserker and Call of the Ancients by 3 seconds for every 10 Fury you spend with an attack. "
And yet mathematics: 120/3 = 40, duration of 20 seconds of Wrath of the Berserker, look bad and even a dead end for the build, but there is a beautiful REND he spends as much rage as spend cry so that everything is in order, for healing in the crowd use scream for quick relief cd REND (patch not: Whirlwind
But one change still need to make a Berserker Rage at the Ruthless
I tested the patch 2.1 in ancient time ik gave "Call of the Ancients last until they die." with 5 items and my fury was so good and the endless Whirlwind and heal the cry happy with it:-) (tested with tasker and theo and without them)
Gogok of Swiftness 15% attack speed, attack speed is needed to increase the number of tornadoes.
Edit: I dont want to sound rude so let me re explain.
BK weaps:
30% IAS
30% Move speed
10 FpS
IKBB: Allows for 100% WotB
25% IAS
20% Move speed
10% CC
20% Dodge
50% Damage (with rune)
Everything in consideration you get more benefit from the IK weap for sure, however tornado spawn rate is based off IAS and with BK weaps you got ~ 3-4 x more tornados. IK weap hits much harder but has real ramp up time with gogok and teaguk. Both builds are viable 50+ GR and have ups and downs, and probably whatever gear you have thats better, its the best option.
Can also switch out Marauder's Rage for Sword of Ploughshares for more survivability in higher GRs.
Works great in T6 and GR's up to around 36-37, but for me I find that I lack survivability past that.
.
At that point you need a Unity. I've ran an almost identical setup to 45 so far, except with Unity instead of Skull Grasp, BotT instead of Gogok, and Nerves of Steel instead of Bloodthirst. The lack of Unity is likely the main issue!
Definitely my favorite Barbarian Build in patch 2.2. Thank You :-)
Yes it would. Skull Grasp is actually really bad and should probably be instantly salvaged unless you have absolutely nothing better to use.
The damage is additive to weapon damage, not multiplicative damage. The only thing its buffing is WW and WW damage is weak in general. SoJ would be better, unity, even the new convention of elements ring would be more ideal.
This right here is solid advice. I'm at GR33 so far in seasons without a complete Wrath set, and this rune is 100% the reason. Without it I go down like a rock.
What amulet are you guys using?
So I've found something interesting. I get more than enough Fury generation from CotA: Ancient's Fury and the Superstition passive. Superstition = both a great defensive and a fury generator, freeing up Weapons Master for another more offensive passive (Brawler is my choice!). Weapons Master feels unnecessary for me since it means I'm pretty much always max Fury, which doesn't really benefit me with this build. The only times I sometimes have issues are at the start of the rift (let the ancients get a few attacks in before charging in) and when there is both low density and no sustained combat (spread out mobs and such). With the sort of jesus rift you are looking for to begin with though, you shouldn't have any issues xD.
Alternately you can use Reapers Wraps for synergy with Swords to Ploughshares (INSANE globe generation with high ChC!). Personally I'll b making a pair, since it's easy enough to get a perfect one with enough tries.
Edit: This is of course assuming you don't have a GG Hellfire yet, but even then I think I'd prefer something like Nerves of Steel over Weapons Master.
