Hi readers!

Welcome to a new and improved 2.1.2 Chakram/Impale physical build for those players that have loved windforce since diablo 1. This build revolves around the use of this lovely bow and how it blows the divine crap out of your enemies, combined with strongarm bracers.
Being tired of mostly playing cold or fire, I'm hoping to find a nice physical build with different skills and without this generic gear (aside from M6) and also to repurpose my old TnT :) So here goes.

This build revolves around spamming Chakram (Razor Disk) while avoiding damage using vault and sentries and saving hatred for left-over single elites/grift bosses with high crits from Impale (Grevious Wounds). For which Marked for Death (Mortal Enemy) helps you regen extra hatred on top of your regular hatred regen from Chakram. Alternatively you could use Caltrops (Bait the Trap) for extra 10 % crit and slow, or Preparation (Punishment) for more frequent nukes, whichever suits your play style better. I've not fully tested these options yet, but feel free to comment and/or test yourself :)

The Build
So first off, I can't seem to select the awesome quiver that goes with this build in the dropdown box, it is important to get one with max Critical Hit Chnace and Attack Speed. Secondary stats involve Dexterity and Damage against Elites. The other stats are up to your preference. Here's the link (it is also required for this build): http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/spines-of-seething-hatred

Second, the Enforcer gem is optional and debatable. You could argue for BotP, but I don't see the added value when you roll elite damage on your quiver and SoJ, as it diminishes the value of the gem. Plus, your sentries and pets get a lot more damage outside (and pets stay alive during) elite encounters thanks to Enforcer rather than going for more damage from BotP and hoping you never die. Preference-based :)

Zei's is mainly used for the extra damage and stunning, in order to keep monsters in and around your chakrams. The Pain Enhancer is there for some extra attack speed on large groups and a nice dot next to your chakram damage. Also, your pets, sentries and chakrams will trigger the PE dot continuously. Stuff will die in a hurry, specially due to the bonus physical damage.

What you need additionally is enchant 15 % Chakram damage on helmet, boots and quiver and 15 % sentry damage on shoulders and chest. If you want even more punch on your impales, get a Scoundrel follower with 3 % crit chance or Enchantress with extra attack speed (the last one might scale better with your chakram/hatred regen, pets and sentry damage output). If you have trouble staying alive though, the templar is your friend.

Alternate gear/build:

You can go for Marauder gloves + Hexing pants instead, I just dislike stutterstep play and lack good hexing pants :(

Another option is to replace your chest with Beckon Sail instead, so you can free up Awareness for another damage passive.

Paragon Priorities

Offense

Attack Speed
Critical Hit Chance
Critical Hit Damage
Cooldown Reduction

Defense

Resist All

Life
Life Regeneration

Utility

Life on Hit
Area Damage
Resource Cost Reduction
Gold Find
Priorities are mostly increasing Chakram and Impale damage output. So Attack Speed, Dex, Crit Chance and then Critical Hit Damage. Impale brings an additional 330 % Critical Hit Damage, but you need crit to trigger it.

No need for hatred, vita, cooldown reduction, etc. If you don't have life on hit on your bow, then grab some life regen and life on hit from paragons. Resource cost reduction might be a nice choice if you feel like you want to squeeze out more dps on single elites. Not a must though.

Build Guide

The gameplay revolves around spamming Chakram (Razor Disk) all over the place, while seeking protection in your Sentry (Guardian Station). This clears out most elites and groups up to grift 38 (video shows an old movie with crappy gear and unity, clearing grift 35) - still need a socket in my ancient windforce to test further. The reason you almost exclusively spam Chakram, is because you use windforce and strongarm bracers. This means that all damage from Chakram and your periodic nuke, Impale, get another 25-30 % modifier.

Impale (Grevious Wounds) will crit for an additional 330 % damage (doubling most standard critical hit damage values), this synergizes nicely with single out passive, for grift bosses, to make sure you get closer to 70+ % crit consistently. Marked for Death causes your Chakram to generate 8 hatred, and 20 % more damage. Alternatives are mentioned in build section.
