Final Play Your Way Livestream
This Thursday, August 6th, the final Play Your Way livestream will happen - with Drothvader and Rhykker. The series is gonna go through some changes to prepare for Patch 2.3 and Season 4, and one of the first changes is that the livestream portion of it is going away. Read below for more details.

The votes are in for our next Play Your Way build. Due to scheduling conflicts, our EU participants were unfortunately unable to attend. However, Drothvader has stepped up to the plate with his sword and board, and the Crusader will be making a zealous return to our next, and final, Play Your Way livestream!

What: Our final Play Your Way Thursday livestream

When: Thursday, August 6 @ 4:00 p.m. PT to 5:00 p.m. PT
Why: To carry on the Crusade and send off this stream format in style!
Join me as I'm accompanied by Drothvader#1215, senior game designer Wyatt Cheng, and YouTube artist Rhykker! We'll be tackling Nephalem and Greater Rifts on the PTR while we discuss our builds and what we're looking forward to most in Patch 2.3.0. I'll load up MicroWaveCat's poll-winning "Haunting Spirits" Witch Doctor and we'll see just how far we can push between all those beautiful orange and green beams.
Final?! What Now?
You may notice we're using the term "final" for this stream. Play Your Way will be changing it up after the launch of Season 4 and our next patch. In preparation, the Play Your Way series as a whole will be going on temporary hiatus and the livestream portion is ending to make way for a more regular format. This doesn't mean we're leaving Twitch forever; just that this particular stream series is coming to a close. We'll be keeping you updated as we get closer to re-launching this feature.
In the meantime, I want to personally thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your ongoing support of this program. It's been both a blast to write and host, and I'm looking forward to taking it in a new direction. J Maccc has uploaded a video going over the Gargantuan rune Wrathful Protector, explaining why it's a very powerful skill for Patch 2.3 Pet Doctors and how to make the most of its mechanics. Check it out! Keep in mind snapshotting skills in the past was usually patched, so there's a chance it won't work as the video explains if it's hotfixed.

Really?
They have no "mechanics". They either attack (with great force) or stand around looking at you/your pets getting slaughtered.
They tried fixing their pathing/non-attacking, but it's still happening. It has happened enough to me, that the damage boost they would otherwise give, gets diminished massively. You're lucky if you haven't run into this at all - that happens as well.
They work superbly, on paper - but in reality they aren't as effective as they should be.

To clarify; I say "they" because of the new ring which splits 1 Gargantuan into 3...

And it is deffo more than 2 weeks. Since we haven't got the 2 weeks notice for seasons 3 yet.
Its looking rather grim for a august release now

Posted Aug 4, 2015The Play Your Way livestream event (the actual streaming) happens once every 5-6 weeks. It's usually happens after the 4 weeks of people submitting their PYW builds.
I don't think next Thursday is when the patch is gonna be released I think your train of thought is valid. They're putting the series on
hold because it could overlap with the next Patch release (and builds will change significantly), however I think there's a higher chance of
the Patch being released within the next 6-7 weeks, rather than within 1-2 weeks. I'd be more willing to bet on late August as the release date, and early/mid September for Season 4.
