2 Patches to PTR in the same week.
It must be a record! 1.0.6 had just 3 lines of change that took several months to implement.
About time!
EDIT: I have 65k life with my DH. That's 2600 life/s with the barb buff. Even if I tried to get life regen on every single item I would probably just barely get that amount. Look at the Brooding passive, and it will be buffed to 2% life regen for only YOURSELF. Simply put, blizz needs to balance other things better if they decide to give such a massive buff to a single skill. Especially if it's always active for all party members.
All right...too much rambling...as much as this change sounds good, this is really making Barbs even better than they already are compared to other classes in terms of party members or just soling. I know someone will probably plug and chug the math later on, but this passive could potentially help Barbs with not needing as much Life Steal as some like to pack on for survival. Again, with the BR-ITF rune and the 2 minute duration...this is pretty much a 'permanent' 4% life regen at all times for them (I know it's not permanent, but considering how often WW Barbs in this case spam BR, it might as well be).
never did i think it was OP. Barbs allways had to use dodgey mechanics to stay alive. ( Exp : Crushing ADV , X2 WW , Revenge )
Skills you HAD to use to stay alive. BT was mandatory in a game where nothing should be mandatory. 4% now makes me feel like a can make other builds and have decent survivability. Besides 4% per sec is not going to save you if you get a bad pull on elites or if your trying to faceroll MP10 on Muiltplayer. Its great to see Inspiring Presence made viable again.
Also dont forget that in order to use Inspiring Presence you have to give up BT. Thats 3% Life steal. So you going to take a hit picking this passive so 4% regen sounds like a good counter. About the barbs with 150k hp. You guys are talking about them dudes thats have like 90K dps that will never see MP10 cause of bad damage right?
I wasn't aware that 4% HP/sec, 20% armor, and 20% resist all was even in the same realm of awesomeness as Overawe is. Hell, even WDs have a ridiculously-strong DPS buff. To say that Inspiring Presence + Warcry + Impunity is the "best" buff is severely... stupid.
It's good that Barbs get a solid defensive group buff. It's certainly better than Mantra of Healing, but it's hardly the absolute best buff in the game. Frankly, I think they should encourage people to bring synergies to groups anyway. Sacrifice a little personal DPS for a very large group survivability buff, or a very big DPS buff.
I know I typically don't run BBV on my WD, but every time I'm in a group I switch it in for something.
