A rep from Blizzard just sent me notice that there would be no more announcements at BlizzCon tomorrow (Saturday), so for those of you (ie: all of you) who were hoping that this would be the day that Diablo 3 was finally confirmed, I'm sorry to inform you that you'll have to continue to wait. We all know that it's eventually coming, but the waiting for the official confirmation of the third game along with some idea of what it will be like is a really hard thing to wait for. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I figured it would be best to tell you about this now rather than have you guys waiting around all day Saturday hoping that we'd hear more about Diablo 3. Thanks for sticking with us though... Blizzard is listening to us and sooner or later (ok, later) Diablo 3 will become a reality.
In other Blizzard-related news, the rep just sent me word that our own Umaro participated in the first-ever Starcraft II tournament with Loc Teinh (from w3roc.com) on his team and won in the first round, but they were unfortunately defeated in round 2 by TeamLiquid. The overall winner of the tournament was TeamLiquid who were then given the opportunity to play Karune and Stephen Chang from the eSports team. TeamLiquid wasn't able to defeat them though. Unfortunately there's no replay video footage from this tournament, but maybe that will change later on.
More news as it becomes available.
Sad Diablo indeed. (thanks to Zabadak for sharing this image with us)
LMAO I cant get the stupid feed to work...Its all good though because you guys are informative and attentive. If there is an announcement, Im sure it'll take about 2 seconds to be ALL over this thread. Whats the deal with "Todds" hair???
P.S. On a side note....I've been on a lot of forums, and you guys, from D3.com, Are some real-time str8 up fuckin gamers. Long live Pc gaming and the franchise that brought us all here together. You guys fucking ROCK
ugh....god this is soooo boring. Let's watch someone else play a game. What moron thought that this was a good idea??? Games are entertaining because they are INTERACTIVE. such a stupid idea...
You know you also have to think of the possibilities of why they didn't announce it... Like maybe it is still in the very early stages so therefore don't have enough to show for it.. Why would they announce something they can't preview at least a little bit. Who knows.. only they do...

I know this quote wasn't directed specifically at me, but thanks for the mad compliments, bmorgan.
And yes, many of us have our eyes (or ears) glued to the screen (or speakers), albeit for boring PvP stuff. So no worries about missing anything.
It was between one of the games (Games 1 and 2 I believe) that the female announcer was - I guess - trying to say something at least halfway interesting...and she started talking about the hair of one of the players.
You know alot of people a year ago were complaining that they wanted the game to be alot like diablo 2, just a few changes... now people are getting better technology and dont mind a change perhaps they are waiting a bit for people to get up to speed to run the game??? Because face it If I were to make a game now days that looked like diablo 1 and 2 or even warcraft, it wouldent look that great compared to the competition that might come a few months down the road... all I am saying is perhaps they are waiting for it too look good and if "team 3" is working on an "awsome" project and thats coming from a high tech guy, then mabey they are making it look awsome... just a thought
Interesting.... lol... I want it very similar to D2, but the graphics much better and more defined. I just want to hear the announcement to know that it's coming.
from a business standpoint, it is pretty obvious the leaders at Blizzard will focus all of their best minds on World of Warcraft. When they're looking at projected gross revenues in millions of dollars a month just from subscribers, you better believe that's what Bliz will be about for years to come. You can't buy that kind of success.
With that said, Bliz has been vague, but they have not denied the existence of D3. They've also offered several hints another dev team is up to something, if my facts are straight. I predict within 1 year we see a flaming D3 logo on Blizzard's front page

Gag.
Was that costume from an actual episode?
(It appears ToD is gonna win, by the way.)

Also: "Does he move into the...lower...finals?"
"I'm sorry, I wasn't listening to you."
Hellooooo, asian lady!
Yeah it was; I think he imagined himself standing over "good homers" grave and he's dancing singing I am evil homer, I am evil homer
Does anyone know how long this fresh hell will last?
"I'm sorry, I wasn't listening to you. I was visualizing myself going ballistic and killing everyone."
"I asked if he moved into the lower finals."
"Sorry, again with the killing everyone. I promise to listen this time."

"Stay awhile and listen"
Tonight there is a concert. What do you do at a concert? You listen. I think before or after the concert, comes something BIG.
Makes sense to me; especially the "stay awhile" part, meaning stay until the end or until the concert is over. I agree with you on this one.
