Posted in: Other GamesJust noticed this interesting discussion:

Some good points made that D3 is actually more mechanically demanding. PoE is more or less just about the patterns. As everyone always stresses, the games can't be compared, but if you do, you notice they're just very much different, there's no better or worse. (I currently enjoy PoE more, but simply because there's nothing to do in D3 other than paragon farming and getting better rolls on my gear; in PoE you still have items to farm after hundreds of hours. Season 16 took me 7:20h, thanks to powerlevel and boost, to complete to Guardian, in PoE that's the time needed for a knowledgeable player to reach endgame.)
Anyways, didn't really know where to put this, and it seems like the last thread was 5 y/o, so I made a new one. Still breaking into PoE and enjoying it, but don't think it's gonna ever rival my close to 5k hours in D3...

Go Troll someplace else if you have nothing better to do. I hear WoW chat misses you go there.
There is more information on this site about diablo 3 then blizzard would or ever could do.

Bagstone posted a message on Is this for real???Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionThere was a long debate about this on the official forums.
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topic/20758567953
Basically, they were discussing this internally but decided to maintain their current approach (retroactively buff sets, but not legendaries). It's safe to say that it's mainly because of technical reasons, and whether that's normal legendaries, ancients, or primals, makes no difference - "the technology just isn't there yet".
For me personally, as someone who has never been a "season pushing player" but likes the continuity of non-season, it gives me new goals to farm. I've already gambled/cubed the new DH weapons yesterday (speedfarming GR90s with Multishot is just SO MUCH FUN) and now I've got some things to do on other classes as well. To be honest, I always complain about the loot hunt being so quickly over, at least compared to D2, so it isn't all that bad in my opinion. Also let's be clear - the list of items you have to replace isn't that long, it's about 5 per class and usually 1-2 per build or so. Some builds even didn't get any changes (like MH wizards) and some got changed a bit more (like the new SWK mechanics or the 3 items we need to re-acquire or UE MS DH). It's not like you're salvaging your entire stash.

Bagstone posted a message on 565 hours played in 24 days? impossible!Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionYou don't check playtime by looking at people's characters, you look at the playtime in their seasonal profile and sum up all the hours played of all classes.
On topic: Yes, botters still bot. I've given up on it. I'm expecting full primal people soon, but to each their own; I at least know I've farmed them myself and not got them handed over by my brother Chris who was running rifts all night. I play to find primals. If my bot finds primals, what am I playing for? I don't get it. But whatever. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I'd suggest that you open an official support ticket with Blizzard through their website. They'd be far more capable of helping you through this issue.
In fact, someone else had a similar issue. https://us.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topic/16283269114
Perhaps that will be of some use to you. Best of luck!

No, it doesn't matter at all. You could try to find them on normal, just as easy as T13. But it would change the number of legendary items you would possibly find from all the other goblin types.

So as you noted, rainbow goblins are quite rare. You wont ever find them in rifts, but generally just in adventure mode. There are a bunch of routes you can take.
Some of the popular ones are:
It also speeds the process up if you have a group of people looking for the goblins. As long as every player is in the zone before the goblin is killed, they would be able to get in the portal.
Your class and build could also speed it up. A quick google search gives this as an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INTcZeQitoM
Here's some other links you might find helpful.

Hopefully this helps out a little bit. Most of the posts note that several times their sessions had zero rainbow goblins, and sometimes they had 4+. So RNG can play a big role in this. Good luck!
