Difficulty. Correct me if I'm wrong since I'm going off of memory, but as I recall, monster difficulty was increased slightly in ladder, just because =D
Whats your suggestion for a fresh lvl 60 character (i can farm on torment 1) on HC?
keep farming T1 until you can farm T2. basically farm on a difficulty your gear can handle. I like to stack health, res, toughness before damage. most of my guys can handle T3 4 but it takes awhile to chop down elites.
always keep DC in the back of your head because it can happen and don't get your self over crowded with mobs.
And be carefull of pub games and taking banners. you can find yourself dead before you know it.
not sure if you know about the keybinding option (force walk). if you don't go into your options/keybindings set FORCE WALK to whatever button you want. I use W. this is very useful in trying to get out of mobs. I use this more then left click to run around.
Getting away from the HC vs SC argument and back to the point of the thread...
Has anyone found other sections that are easy to farm with high xp? I saw someone mention Core of Arreat in another thread. I've been farming Keeps 2 (mostly because I love that area).
I find simply starting a game at end boss of an act and clearing everything before it is rather fun and good for finding legs, then killing boss when u done. i get almost 2 para lvlvs when done.
This play style you guys have in SC in all honesty and not to be insulting looks very very boring. And how can one take pride in your character? I can look at my characters and say i walked each one, found each and every piece of there gear. and all of them have gear. unlike SC players. where you take your gear from your main and throw all over the place on other characters because you got bum rushed all the way. opps sorry kinda went insulting there.
You don't have to worry about sounding insulting. Taking such pride in playing your characters without dying in a game like diablo 3 just comes of as extremely hilarious more than anything else. It is like taking pride in stocking shelves and bragging about how many shelves you've stocked. Thanks for the laugh.

It appears you're not good with English. I will attempt to explain it for you. Taking pride in your diablo 3 HC character is similar to taking pride in stocking shelves. Which is a very funny concept. Because stocking shelves and playing diablo 3 without dying are both extremely easy and not really things someone would take pride in. Unless maybe they had a very hollow life, devoid of anything else meaningful.

and ure saying the majority HC mentality of playing is any better? In my opinion the HC playstyle is vastly more boring than SC, all you guys do is stack toughness then play in a difficult 2 below what your gear allows, yawn. Id rather play in a difficulty equal to or above what i'm capable of and die a few times than play in easy-mode because of the fear of death.
no and yes. yes and no. we can debate HC SC all day. it boils down to what your play style is. I simply do not understand SC, that's all. When i was introduced to Diablo in 2001 threw my room mate he said "If your going to play play HC" so i did.......................

Please don't lump all of us SC players in the same batch...I, personally, kill everything, clearing entire areas from beginning to end. I don't give 2 sh*ts about being efficient or getting 900 gaziilion xp points/hr. I just wanna kill sh*t!! lol

Logged into NA and can't even make a game. get DC from server. on third try finally made a game and can not even get to stash. bar is in the red. over 1200msec
