Blizzard knows exactly how many people are logging into the D3 servers how often. They can see exactly how those numbers responded to PoE, TL2, etc. coming online. They don't need you to try and tell them with your complete lack of evidence.
BTW Pandaria has a user rating of like, 4.3. And going by sub numbers, it's still the most profitable PC game right now. Meanwhile PoE was bragging about 50k concurrent logins on launch day. That is a real accomplishment for a new F2P game, but for Blizzard, it's Tuesday.

Bagstone posted a message on "The Complete Diablo Fix", On Gameplay and The Auction House, TryHard: Witch Doctor Legendary GuideWhat I don't get why people spend so much time on these forums bitching about a game they didn't get. "I love the franchise" is not an excuse.Posted in: News & Announcements
I loved Fallout 1+2, Fallout 2 is probably my all-time favorite game. When Bethesda made F3, I tried it, and hated it. For me they completely killed the atmosphere. However, the game got superb ratings, many people loved it, both novices to and lovers of the franchise. So I moved on, never spend a minute thinking about what F3 could have been or bitching about what it has become. -

What are you exactly saying? your totally lost me, How can it not be fantastic to get a 3 week vacation to australia sponsored by a game you play for fun? What does that have to do with football or your irl job? where is the logic in the gibberish you say? Trolling much?Quote from Caos
Because it's not fun to me and the fact that you can earn some money doesn't help anyhow.
You called it "fantastic", I say it's not. If we were both playing a football match I'd say that you made something "fantastic" if you made an exceptional goal, not because you were wearing a wonderful pair of sockets. Ain't it?
But if you want to call it "fantastic" because you made 6k € having fun... Yeah! That's great but, again, most of the people that have a job and like it do earn quite as much as you did (at least here in western Europe) and have almost as much fun as you, so I wouldn't say "fantastic".
But maybe it's just me because I'm used to have fun with my job.
And I won't hijack your topic talking about what I find entertaining in Diablo 3.

Those 90% that make loss are the ones the make the other 10% gain. That's the same in Diablo 3. And Forex is way easier than other trading markets, nonetheless it requires education. Just like you need when you play with the D3 AH.
Thank you. And continue doing so with a smile.Quote from Ourumov

I hate to be the guy that brings up the fact that you selfishly purchased underpriced items and manipulated the market to give yours a selling advantage for your personal gain, and thus artificially inflated the economy for whoever was purchasing your goods. But hey. "congrats"

I hate you and your type, specifically since you mentioned AH sniping and flipping.
Don't hate the player? Hate the game? Yeah I hate that Blizz brought out the worst in people by making it seem ok to behave like this.
Grats on your personal gain to the dismay of people who actually want to use those items in game. You're a genuine AH tycoon.
And you hate me, for doing what people do in a game with an economy. I honestly could not care less. -

what a load of bliz PR horseshit, the section on pvp and the launch is just crap, "In terms of the actual game, our development team had total say on if and when Diablo III was ready for release, and we shipped it only after we felt it had met our vision for what a great game could be on day 1."
Really? GREAT?
i would barely rate it sub-par on day one, based on connectivity and server issues alone.
So, you have say 2mil people play on your Open Beta weekend, figuring there will be a fair bit more for launch, maybe double that, based on pre-order info from retailers and digital orders + annual pass.
Turns out your estimations were off by about 100%.
HOW do you plan for that? Overcompensate to the point of ridiculousness, only to have to sit with unused hardware (refering to your connectivity and server issues).
I think they did damn well, considering that their servers got so heavily flooded on launch, they had no idea it was gonna be that bad. And Mike Morhaime ADMITTED TO IT. They planned based on expectations from retailer info and digital sales. The fact it doubled that or something crazy was beyond their scope of knowledge. Would you like them to start working with Ms Cleo to determine what the playerbase and customer wants, to try and pre-emp all our demands and interests? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Nono, it's all about "finding players near you" and "now you can have a message next to your name to broadcast to all your friends". Stop making this game into facebook and give us some content

I have no problem understanding where you are coming from. I understand that this may "force" people into feeling that they have to pay to win. But you don't have to. I sure didn't. Not a dime has left my credit card. And believe me: my motivation for playing doesn't come from "how high is my ranking". I love to smash monsters, just like everyone else. Also, if I was rank-addicted I would have gone for DPS ranking. But 450k ub monks are unplayable at MP10 (in my eyes). And MP10 is where the fun stuff happens
No reason for such a list? I just want to see the top 100 or so to see how players evolve and to see what's going on. I can see that now as well, but I would have to search manually since there are a lot of shield wearers. The "need" is in the eye of the beholder.

I've recently found myself in the top 10 list on diabloprogress (pvp dummy, which is eHP and DPS combined) and I'm kinda proud of that to be honest. Pride is relative ofc., it's only a game, but still...
Now, my question is this. There are only 2-3 in the top 10 that dual wield. The others use shields. I would like to know if there are rankings like this where you can add "dual wield" as a search option to weed out the shield wearers. Is there such a thing? Are there other sites like diabloprogress?
Thanks in advance!
For reference:
Top 20 EU monks ranked by PvP dummy. I'm Neph btw

I would also suggest that you use Mantra of Conviction: Overawe instead of Mantra of Retribution. It's one of our best skills and using anything else is a dps downgrade.
Echoing Fury may increase your character sheet dps, but when you run after a feared mob, you aren't doing dps. Those on the top 10 on the dps rankings use Echoing Fury, but those of us that use weapons with no fear-proc will do more damage since the mobs are standing in our Sweeping Wind aoe.

Hopefully the increased prices on Radient gems will increase the price on Flawless Square gems as well
Account bound gems? Sure. Fine. Account bound crafted gear however? Not fine. A part of the thrill of crafting is the chance to get something to sell (if you can't use it yourself). Gems that cost THIS much if just for bragging rights. I know I won't craft them for myself right away, but maybe further down the line.
