Such a relief that I have something to refer to when I try to persuade people how good spike trap + echoing blast is.

You should have 0 problem when dealing with reflect elite packs, simply refresh shadow power before it expires and always pop shadow power before you initiate the attack, life regen provided by shadow power should be way more than the damage you get from reflect.
In terms of disc, 47 is a healthy amount that shall be able to get you through every elite packs, if you find yourself constantly starve for more disc, you are either using too much vault or refreshing shadow power too early. If you are planning to do higher MP, vault is a luxury skill. Check my build at the profile (in my signature below) if you need reference.

Which rune for Bola Shot should I use?
Depending on your playstyle, if you want to have better aoe damage, choose first rune, if you want additional survivability, choose either the one return disc, or provide 1.5 second stun. All you need to do is stand stationary and tank everything while maintain shadow power and place trap under mobs, with bola shot fit between the gap.
Edit: I generally prefer 1.5 second stun since the proc on elite mob allows me to place traps more accurately and smooth out the initial spike damage taken, since both spike trap and bola shot has delay in damage.

Only think I would consider to change is your +21% fire damage taken helm, and also consider bola shot + spike trap (echoning blast) combination, since ball lightning really lacks in the burst department, and you need burst damage for health return with shadow power in the later MP.

Okey, nothing really about the gear but the build. But for skills:
Use either rocket storm or Drifting Shadow, if you want to use that no-brainer build. However multishot builds are generally more effective as they let you take +1 extra mp compared to strafe builds in speed-clears. Ofcourse you need to play with them but they are more effective.
(Currently experimenting MP2 for maximum gain as MP1 was too trivial. MP2 however seems just as trivial so I'm considering moving to MP3 with the build and swap ferrets to bat or keep them as ferret if MP3 was still a cake-walk.)
If we put gear aside, I'm actually quite confused about your goals in the general sense. If you wished to maximize exp gain since you are currently at paragon level 12, I see a 23% exp gem on helm and no hell fire ring. If your goal is to only farm items, I see 0 MF on your gear set. If you are planning to pursue higher MP for uber boss in the future (quite frankly it's the only end game content now), your lack of AR is going to cause massive issues.
Anyway here is my gear advice, should you wish to advance to higher MP (disregard the following if you only want to do MP1-3 comfortably, which your current gear is enough)
A dex vile ward, a standard inna belt + pant, after you get 2 piece set bonus from inna belt&pant, ditch your current helm and get a standard dex mempo. Reason behind these are to boost your dps and survivability at the same time without major investment. I would also suggest for a single socket 1200+ dps manticore with dex, but that depends on your budget.

BL only hits for half amount of damage as it advise on the tool tip, however it has way larger AoE range and can hit multiple times.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

So I was offering MP10 uber boss run as long as people provide minimum 3 machines in both trade chat and general chat. I would be able to get spammed by people who wanted to come along a month ago, but yesterday I got 0 reply. That's says alot about the game population now.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

If all you want is low mp exp farming, EA is the choice. However if you are considering high mp level 7 and up, bola shot is the one you need to look into.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

The essential of WW barb is their almost 100% up time on Sprint that not only gives bonus movement speed, also leaves mini tornado behind that is going to clear pretty much all trash/white mobs on mp0.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
With that being said, I completely missed the point of "WW DH build", which basically hover around the mobs with a decreased movement speed. There are a bunch of argument based on "if you have enough gear, WW spec clears out everything faster than any other spec". With the dps I have right now, I do clear farming route faster with just Bola Shot - Volatile Explosive combined with Vault.
Edit: I had tried new strafe since 1.0.5 hit live server, generally a full clear of Alkaizer route takes around 9 minutes on mp0 with Bola Shot, and strafe build would take around 13 minutes. Things die equally fast, but so much time wasted on moving from point A to B.

I have a crap yellow ring on me just for the interface dps fetish. Generally I have a SoJ equipped so that gives me in total:
+32% damage against elite and boss, +25% damage on spike trap and +14% damage to bola shot.

Dont think any comments are necessary. Incredible DH. Just one question - when do you think it is more efficient to equip mempo instead of Nats sight? For example I have a 6.0 cc Nats helm right now and I would like to find out what stats should mempo have to out-dps the Nats sight, also considering that I will lose the 3 set bonus? Maybe you could give the approximate numbers.
Are you referring to a mempo with 6.0 cc as well? If we disregard the additional survivability provided by mempo and only consider DPS, it all depends on how each stat worth for your current set of gear.
Currently 1 Dex is 94.5 dps and 1% attack speed is 1830 dps for me, so 8% attack speed out weight 130 dex provided by 3 nat set bonus on any day. However it may be a different story for other people.
I chose 0 cc mempo rather than Nat helm based on the overall AR and additional life% that it gives me, which is extremely crucial for me to be able to tank elite packs on MP8 and up. But again I see cc mempo to be more of an end game item than cc Nat helm, dps gain from attack speed on gearing becomes ridiculously high when you reach a certain number of cc and cd.
