Just don't let players open chests while in combat similar to how we can't change skills.. problem solved.

1-2 legionaries per hour from rifts is plenty.
Considering Harrington Waistguard and Sebor's Nightmare.

Why don't you work link? føkk it!

That's the point of this build.
Just think it backward, some times you don't need to have a huge DPS number to make tons of damage.
Instead, a small DPS with longer up time can do tons of damage too.
This is why I am gonna try this build on my HC, my only concern is if there is an enrage timer on new bosses?
and btw, what do you think of The Tall Mans Finger? It should work even better on single targets?

Yes, to see that the tooltip reflects facts. Would be great. That way we wouldn't need guys likeVolpethropeto spoon-feed us solutions. (Great job btw).

And Bagstone, How do you find time to play the game? You write here every other minute. :) and thanks for that.

Interesting responses, some players here behave exactly the opposite players behave in the official forusm, both extremes are bad people.

This thread is about legendary special affixes that are... at least, sub-par compared with others without any doubt.

Slorak's Madness is just not legendary material.
As a Disintegrate Wizard, you realize Slorak's Madness is the best legendary in the game for me, right? It's a VERY powerful legendary.
It should not have a status of legendary. It is not game changing. The bonus affix is laughter??
And btw. I am an arcane orbit wis :)

I still think that the Slorak's Madness is pretty useless. "This wand finds your death humorous." Funny the first time, then after that it's no good.
Some legendaries uniqueness isn't the orange text. That wand is fantastic because it offers 20% + disintegrate damage. Same with pig sticker. Squeal is obviously useless, but the huge damage boost to beasts and humanoid is very helpful.
I don't think the point is if the item is good. We are discussing the legendary affixes. If they are usefull or not. Not the item itself. What makes an item unique. Not that it has good stats, But what makes that item unique. And that is the orange text. tell me when you find a rare or common weapon/gear that has an unique stat, and will agree that the orange text does not matter

My Monk has an affix that every globe you pick, 380% weapon damage for everyone, it is fucking amazing.

However, the other one I quoted, is garbage, come on. If you are in a fucked up situation, taking only half of the damage for... 5 seconds, wont save you.

Now, if you say, that the channeling time of your TP is reduced to 1 second, ok, that is then useful. I wouldn't probably use it but I can see that for HC players is actually a nice escape.
Like I said in my first response on this topic, I don't find it useless. But its not a game changer either. So I would easily trade in for something with better stats.Slorak's Madness on the other hand, and the Pig Sticker, is just not legendary material. And there are to much stuff that is classified as legendary, that simply is not.

But some of it also depends on how you play the game. Someone mentioned "All your items are indestructible" shoulders. Completely useless to HC players. And as far as I know, we can't reroll these affixes in RoS?
I look forward to be able to reroll the "don't suffer damage" affix.

And as Bagstone said in a reply to my Chaingmail question:"After earning a survival bonus, quickly heal to full Life"...He said It will heal you mid combat, if you get under 10% life. No offence bagstone, but I think you are wrong. And that was a bit of topic.

Point is, you are right. Some of these affixes are utter garbage. And it should be different affixes for the two modes, HC/SC. Some are usefull in one mode, and useless in the other.
Sorry, lot of edits. Seems like my space key isn't working. Or maybe a bug

posted a message on Legendary special properties?
I got a Chaingmail the other day. And the special affix is "After earning a survival bonus, quickly heal to full Life". What does this mean?
As I understand this, the chest piece will heal you, if you are close to death. But only if you are no longer in combat? If this is correct, I am wondering if this isn't a stupid bonus for a HC character. Its a little late to get the free healing after the fight is ended?

posted a message on [Warning] Your enchantress might kill you.
So, Ematanis. The problem as I understand it, is that the elites with some nasty affixes is all gathered in to one spot? So that if you play a melee class you might get all of them on top of you?

Zero: These Sand Golem's are the ones that pop up from the ground in desolate sands? The Keywarden has been fixed in the latest patch. Maybe I have to take a look with my soft-wiz to see how much damage these guys do.

Any other heads up's would be much appreciated. I would hate to lose any of my heroes to shit like that. But then again, Softcore isn't really working for me anymore.

I have picked up almost every Yellow I have found, and lots of them have been wizard hats and sources that have been to high level to equip. I have never gotten any RoS reagents from my salvages.

posted a message on Question about Torment slider and magic find
From what I can see, increasing the slider gives me bonus to gold find and experience. Is there no MF bonus, or is it hidden?
If there is no MF bonus, what is the point of increasing the difficulty if all you want is to gear up?
I am mostly experimenting on builds at the moment, to see how my SC chars handles shit. But if upping the Torment level will give me better loot, I can consider taking some chances on my mains. But if the only reward is more XP..... nah, I am not in a hurry :)
