Cindercoat & SoJ already make this build work at 60, I'm using something similar but with overpower and earthquake it's fun :)
Tried my build with just furious charge as fury generator, only ran out of fury on belial.

A Skorn is hard to beat since the new 2H that are dropping are kinda rubbish. Craft some new bracers/shoulders and maybe get some rare new boots of the AH with 200 strength/vita, AR, runspeed or seismic slam/hota bonus. Chests/legs with sockets are nice since you can put some diamonds in them for extra AR if you need the defense but new legendaries will be better for all slots except weapon/bracers if rolled decently.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I like my firebuild with hota but it's relying on the 30% cost reduction from cindercoat. If you have trouble with fury try to fix it with passives and paragon bonuses.

I'm doing t3/4 for both xp and legendaries, might not be the most efficient but I like it. Cota seems just so boringPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I've been using a firebuild but with earthquake and overpower. I was lucky to get a new cindercoat with 20% fire damage, 30% firecost reduction and strength/vita/AR. Combined with SoJ HOTA only costs 11 fury, SoJ might be a bit overkill and lacking toughness but it's fine for t2 atm. With 39% extra fire damage from bracers, cindercoat, SoJ+26% against elites earthquake just melts elite packs.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
The only thing I'm lacking is life regen, but working on getting some more AR & healing from gear. Maybe the new bloodthirst if I get some more healthglobe bonusses as secundary stat. Or some new rings.
I've found the trembling stomp rune on ground stomp just too good to pass up when I used it.

I wonder why the ptr patchnotes only hurt monk passives while barbarian passives like nerves of steel, though as nails or superstition remain untouched in addition to threatening shout/ignore pain!?
I was wondering that myself too, guess the war cry nerf is big enough for barbarians.
Edit: The enchantress buff goes from 15%>5% so that's kinda sucky but that goes for all classes.

I'm sticking with my 2H but will switch the few pieces I have without all ress for something more defensive. Getting better gear might actually be worth it again.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

I found it more efficient to farm act1 until I got gear worth around 2-3 mil in each slot so total of like 24 mil at least but that is with a 2H build some other specs might be cheaper/more efficient.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

More paragon levels>more magic find>more legendaries. And a good bit of luck of coursePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I would plug it into a spreadsheet to see the damage gain, skorn would give 12-82% more critdamage and the higher weapondamage should make up for the 15% attackspeed loss. Biggest gain would be revenge/rend hitting harder with a slow 2H. Personally I would take cleave(175% damage rune) over frenzy, much more aoe damage and only slightly less (10%) single target damage.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

None of your gear is really good but I would start by replacing your helm and boots they are truly terrible. After that see if you can get shoulders with 200+ strength, crit chance on your neck, bracers, rings and a 2H with critdamage+socket if you can afford to loose the life regen.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
