Well I just managed to get my gear high enough to finish Act 3 Inferno before the nerf hits tomorrow. Didn't have to skip to many elietes so I guess thats not to bad. Wish I could have finished the game before 1.0.3 but oh well.
How far did you guys get? I'm sure there is a lot of people out there with inferno cleared.
Well. It has +block so your down to barbs and monks who can make use of it. It has a lot of armor for a lower quality shield which is nice. A lot of vitality too which is nice, however the Int is really not ideal. The crit is kind of nice depending on spec. Your main problem with selling this shield for a lot is the fact that it is a lower quality shield, and despite the high block chance, the block amount is not very high. I'd put it up for 500k buyout with a 75k starting bid. Thats probably the best you'll get out of this imo.
I'm not guna lie. I kinda cheated my way threw act 2, skipping everything I could skip to burn threw. But once I got to Belial it set in, I'm really undergeared. I'm talking dieing to phase 1 constantly. So I started farming gold to gear myself out threw the AH, and today I spent 5 Million gold on gear, which really is not a lot considering the prices of the better gear, but I spent hours on the AH looking for upgrades.
It was really demotivating hitting a wall at Belial, but today was a good day.
My first attempt I got into phase 2 and died. My best attempt before the kill I got into phase 3 and died on the 2nd aoe phase.
Many many attempts later I joined a public group.
4 of us it in. Me, 2 DHs and a Wiz.
On our 3rd attempt we got him pretty low spaming rezes phase 3, but after that attempt the Wizard called it quits.
So me and 2 DHs on our 4th attempt.
10 seconds in the first DH dies. We keep going in phase 1.
10 more seconds the second DH dies. I keep going in phase 1.
20 seconds later the first DH to die leaves the group. I keep going, still in phase 1.
15 seconds later the 2nd DH to die leaves, I make it to phase 2.
Heart is pounding but I get threw phase 2 pretty well with no close calls thanks to revenge and my new gear.
Get into phase 3 and I'm saying to myself, does this guy have an enrage timer?
The last 2 aoe phases bring me down to a sliver of health left, and at those points my heart is litteraly beating out of my chest.
But I killed the mofo, and really not that any of you care, but I'm super happy right now, and stuned that a game can make my heart race like that.
I fuc*ing powered threw and got the sh*t done.
For the people out there thinking about buying a kill from someone, like I was, or giving up and making a DH, like I did, Dont do it! Gear up and kill sh*t. Very Very rewarding in the end!
As the topic says. Need some help with Inerno Beliel. I'm most likely undergeared for it but I would like to put act 1+2 progression behind me so I can start farming for act 3+4.
After a ton of attempts I got him into phase 3. I just want him dead.
