    posted a message on Armor>>Vit>>Resist??
Depends on how much health you have. Some people can survive with ~300k while others get to 500k+

I would aim for something between those two values and go for armour > res, as you will get more reduction out of it compared to resists.

One thing that helps, Is if you have any % Life, see how much its worth compared to Vit, sometimes I've found changing 15% life to 700 vit being more powerful in terms of life gained (this is changing one item, not multiple.

Can the portal spawn from goblins killed in rift or Grift?
I don't think you can get it from a Grift, but fairly sure you CAN get one in a regular rift.

these things keep getting "ninja nerfed" because people post them.

if you value your goblins, stop posting!
To be honest, I would like them all to get so called "ninja nerfed" So every time I find one, I will tell people about it.

Already have 1.8b gold before these goblin rifts came into play, not much use for me so may as well share.

Just did northern highlands for about 30 mins before getting a portal (8-10 goblins) Didn't always spawn, but it was about an 75% chance.

    Quote from Unseeneel

Boa might be the single most positive change Diablo 3 have gotten, Blizzard just need to get rid of the last gold selling methods in the game then we are rid of all these pesky bots, a few other changes that will make me hooked on Diablo 3 for years to come is : A fun pvp mode and more effective builds to play with at endgame :-)

Ps: Oh noes we have to actually play the game now to get further in this game, what a downer!

    Lies, we're all botting!

But really, BOA has its drawbacks but overall it's better than playing a shopping simulator.

For people saying he is trolling, My friend and I sell power lvling 1-70 for $10 a pop. We also sell T6 rift runs for $5 a run, includes all legendaries that drops, specific ones they have to pay extra.

    It is HIGHLY demanded.

We no longer sell runs as people have undercut our prices and we no longer can be bothered till 2.1 comes out.

Quote fromAurpona Solution: Quit farming on low difficulties. Crank that shit to T6 run a handful of bounties and you will have your ring. This is not a hard item to get, it's like farming kadala. You know where it drops, it's not like it's a random world drop. In the time it took you to make the two topics you could have probably farmed multiple T6 games and had your ring.

..lol you think you're farming t6 without a RRoG?
..lol you think you're required to have a RRoG to farm T6?

    Who would even buy gold?

There drops so much now, I'm making more by just picking it up than I made on the AH.

And once the Goblin rifts get patched in, gold will be without value.
I know people who are still stuck on hard/master.... even though they have the gear for T5, their ability to react and move out of stuff is really bad so they die often. Their gold goes away really quickly because they don't make much from drops and re-rolling gets expensive.

posted a message on New ladder season to play or not to play
    Quote from Vaestmannaeyjar
I don't see the point of ladders if you're not in the small % that has the playtime to actually envision a place in the leaderboards.

My goal in DIII is to advance my characters by getting them better items.

    • Starting up fresh is exactly the reverse of that. New items will be sent to nonladder at the end of the season so getting them is not the issue.
    • What's the point of farming items you won't use anyway since after season 1 you'll play season 2 and will likely not play your nonladder characters ?
    • Starting up from scratch results in a huge XP and gold loss. You'll get the starter/T1 difficulties XP and gold until your chracter progresses. I'm currently making 1 million/cache run in T4.
    • You'll be making the same characters with the same specs as in non ladder, to be efficient. What's the point ?
Some of your points can be used as a reason NOT to play hardcore... it's a choice.

You don't have to aim for #1 spot during seasons, you can compete with friends, clans, family.......

posted a message on There's only one reason I'm not playing seasons
I have yet to see any useful suggestion to actually fight this, just a bunch of people whining.

    How about this.

Presuming you have two rank 50 gems. Let's also presume, you NEVER failed to upgrade and you ALWAYS got ONE rank up on each. so you ranked up 99 total times. To combine them, you have a 1% chance. if they were both 49, you would have a 2% chance. if they were lvl 5. you would have a 90% chance. If they were lvl 10, you would have an 80% chance.

You get the point, this way. It's not pointless BUT, it's also rare to combine gems (This is presuming gems can go above 50)

What if this is a preview of weapons now being able to have 2 sockets? I know a lot of people on battle.net forums cried for multiple sockets in weapons. It's probably a bug though as it seems that everything to do with the Gift seems bugged.
I think most people wanted 2h weapon to be able to have two sockets... not ALL weapons.

Multi-boxing isn't supported by blizzard, But it's not against their rules.

One key stroke, is sent to each client, which is okay to them, because YOU'RE doing it, and it only ever issues ONE command per client. If you pressed ONE button and it did FIVE things on each client, THAT would be against the rules as it's automated.

TL'DR, Multi-boxing is ALLOWED, but not SUPPORTED, any issues you have due to it will NOT be resolved by blizzard.

I opened my game to public, someone joined, paragon 200 or so, Doing T6 rifts.

They were utter GARBAGE. I asked them to leave and they ignored me and followed.... So I stopped killing things and let THEM run ahead, they left after they failed to kill a goblin.
