Blizzard, oh how the mighty hath fallen.

I've been in denial for awhile, but I think I'm ready to accept that Blizzard much like Bioware is just a shadow of it's former self.

lol a bit slow with that huh? I've been feeling like that ever since wotlk for wow for got released and dum downed for the garbage casuals and then they began dumbing everyone of their games down for the same piece of trash casual players. Which just led to the game being ruined asap in the end.

Actually what's sad about this game..well one blizzard being in charge of it and began the nerfing garbage for the casuals again is one thing. But the other thing is that after 7 years in the making and they still can't get pvp done, lol. Blizzard has went down hill so bad. I used to defend and not care about the pvp but after all this time it is kind of sad for such a multi million dollar company to have such issues while every other game has pvp and don't even got a qauter of blizzards money. About the only good game they got left is sc2 and hopefully these devs keep away from it.

Mists of Pandaria begs to differ.

Other than that you could be totally right. :)

Yea...because a kung fu panda hunting pokemon is extremely original... ;) I never seen either character or game play (pokemon battles) any whereeeeee at all. ;)

After saying those words to Dave, the man who brought us our passion, you will never be widely accepted, Jay. Your PR excuses cannot hide your aggressive hateful nature.

he is merely a human, therefor even he has the right to every now and then blow of steam like he did. Nothing wrong with that and does not make you a ''hateful aggressive person''

Most of all it was on his PERSONAL facebook page FOR FUCKS SAKE!

I still remember post 2008 election posting a big ol "FUCK OBAMA"... on my facebook status....

Jay has bad aura. He works hard, but he's not a nice person. Same goes for Mike Morhaime.

LOL who the fuck cares if he is a nice person? Isn't it more important how our d3 game plays out instead of worrying about someone ( that we don't even know) character?

Overall changes are welcome, but. We need that endgame. I doesnt require much to beat the game. If you have a bit of a skill, you dont even have to use AH that much. After the patch I´m afraid that this game will be too easy. Just have to wait and see.

lol yeah that would be a first for a blizzard game and it's garbage casuals. ;) Between dumbing down to infant mode and kung fu panda's I wonder why wow lost 3 million people... Mind boggling, lucky they continue the same forumla that is sure to work.. ;)

We’re removing Enrage Timers and the “heal back to full” behavior from Champion and Rare monster packs.

That's an incredibly huge nerf to the difficulty of the game. I haven't played as heavily as a lot of people, have only just completed Act 1 Inferno, don't have great gear. And I can tell you that this one single change will flip the switch from the game being randomly impossible to being always possible.

lol a blizzard game always being impossible with their casuals? I doubt that highly, lol.

The word "randomly" and the word "always" do not actually mean the same thing.

Well unless it was sarcasm that then maybe unless those words have new meanings in the English dictionary now a days, lol.

Yeah no kidding. And it's disgusting how Blizzard always dumbs down their games for the garbage casual players because that's what this is always about and nothing else. It started with WOTLK and just goes on and on. It's like all they think that plays their games is garbage casual players.

They're putting off destroying what's left of D3 by not implementing gold selling on the RMAH at this time.

Can you imagine how ugly its going to get when that does happen?

No, I really can't because the way me and my friend play we just go and play the game. He barely focuses on the Ah at all but that's due to him just being a horrid game player in general. It won't affect my game in anyway because every item they sell will be in the game so L2Play and get the same items for free. Simple and no need for crying once you put effort in to it..Unless you are one of the piece of garbage wow casuals that don't like putting effort in to anything then I can understand your problem. Other than that it shouldn't affect your game at all.

stupid enrage timer here we go again World of Diablocraft

You know world of Warcraft didn't invent a lot of the things that are in the game right? They just combined a lot of things. Enrage timers are to prevent extreme amounts of cheesing/low damage on boss fights. If you aren't geared enough to kill it within a certain amount of time, then you shouldn't be there.

Oh the garbage casuals never understand that idea at all. They just want to go in and kill the enemy to get gear handed to them with little effort as possible. Nothing new and which the main thing that ruined wow before the kung fu panda expansion.

I really hope the RMAH tanks and takes the game with it. If Blizzard makes a profit off of it then all Blizzard games will essentially become "Pay to Win".

Or you could L2play instead of crying and saving time. :) Everything the AH sells is found in the game but I guess it's from people that actually put time in to earning the items instead of crying on the forum.

lol I am not even going to bother ever going to inferno because of this garbage. I don't care enough about gear to play a dumbed game mode for the casuals. The reason I play co-op games is not for the help or friends bull shit but for the fact that it makes the game tougher and more challenging. Blizzard as usual fucks up something for the trash casuals and made inferno pointless. Yep, that's the point of having different difficulties, to nerf them down and make them easy...

posted a message on Hotfixes - June 8th: Monster damage no longer increases with additional players and more
    Quote from Doorsfan

@ Kolz - His point was that if you truly are concerned for the state of difficulty of the game - You should try and clear Hardcore, Inferno - Every single act. There is no greater challenge - There is no greater monument - And before you do this - You are literally like the forum whiners from WoW. "Oh no, Wellfare raids - it's too easy" *checks chars progress* "1/8 HC".

As for Co-op - I doubt you have tried going co-op Act III Inferno. Being able to effectively destroy elite packs etc. Act III , SOLO, you need around 1k resist. (I'm not talking about white mobs) - Now if you add to this - with more people - It becomes an unattainable degree of gear that you would need - on every single person - but mainly melee - To withstand the damage output.

Beyond this point - Getting gold in this game for gear - is much like playing farmville already - do a tedious task till you become too numb to realize what you were doing to begin with - just to find that you can buy one gear piece - That might help you survive a little bit better - but in the end you would have to spend FAR more then 10 hours farming.

Let's assume you need about 1 mil (that's cheap) for a good piece of gear with all res, phys res, and your primary stats. You get 300k/hour b4, with urn runs. So that's 3 hours 20 mins of just urn breaking, for every (hypothetical) priced item. And you would need how many items? I think there is about 12 pieces in total - so 12x200 mins - 2400 mins - 40 hours - Of urn breaking just to get these items that go for hypothetically 1 mil each.

You find your self hardcore because you can break urns for 40 hours? I hate to break this to you - in well formulated English compared to your raging incoherent ramblings - But no sane being likes breaking vases for 40 hours, unless you are supposedly a hardcore Farmville fan. And remember - this is 40 hours for solo gear - No Co-OP. And Diablo is about Co-op to begin with - so gg.

As for anyone claiming Blizzard are delusional about their own game - 3/10 troll - You must have missed the fact of how you are forced into Solo play.

@Zakarumite this isn't twitter, why are you @'ing me for? Who's to say I haven't done so with a guild? Do you know what I've done? Does he? Like I said, if you dont like putting the time in to the game with the countless casual excuses always used then don't play it, simple. You don't like tough challenges? Stay on normal. You want it even easier? Then play with over geared people and let them play for you. Simple! What the fuck is the point in having higher difficulties if they are gonna be nerfed for the garbage casuals? Other games with higher difficulties don't get dumbed down because "it's too hard" and casual has to go walk the dog. And what's this solo shit about? The fun in diablo games in general is having a full room just so the enemies are tougher...ah ok never mind the rest. The point in this entire thing is for the casuals to have an easy time, not a tougher time.

Well I have taken Diablo at Inferno.... weeeee...... what now?!

I like challanges but this #¤%&#!(& nerf just destroyed the game. GG

What do you expect? it's blizzard and their usual bullshit making the game dumbed down for the piece of shit casual players that have 100,000,000 excuses on why they can't put effort in to the game. Look at how they fucked up WoW and you should never expect anything else with any of their games and the garbage casuals. Fucking trash players should go do their 100,000,000 things they claim they got to do instead of playing a game and ruining it as always.

    • In cooperative games, monster damage will no longer increase when additional players join the game. Please note that monster health will still scale based on the number of players in a party
WTF?!? God damn it here we go already in less than a month with the bull shit nerfs for the garbage casuals piece of shit players that complain the game is too hard. The fun thing about diablo was always the aspect of enemies being tougher when more people come in, not to have it as the same difficulty when more people come in. This is exactly why I will never buy another blizzard game that has a monthly fee (wow or their next mmo). Bull shit like this just ruins the game and it's just for the garbage casuals that can't ever put effort in to their game and want everything easy as possible.

    Quote from Adon

It is so sad how delusional Blizzard is about their own game. You are not allowed to play Diablo 3 any other way then the way they want you too, it is a forced game as is now with little to no options. They cut PvP from release and said it was OK because people wouldn't be high enough level...level 60's in a day. They say it is about farming, we the people find spots to farm that are intelligent and Blizzard gets butt hurt because we utilized their system better then their shitty team did, so they remove it. We tell them their itemization blows dick and they give us some sap story about random gear drops.

This game was created by a bunch of Tals sorc wearing scrubs in Diablo 2, or scrubs who left Diablo because they couldn't hack it and went to WoW.

All in all, Blizzard is turning out to be pretty pathetic and sad. They come over like a guy who made something and is upset because the people playing what he made do it better then he can.

Really give a damn that much about pvp? Diablo has never been about pvp, the main stuff has always been about dungeon crawling. And it was ok to take it out for the time being because of that fact so fuck pvp. You want pvp then go to shit of legends or some other f2p game that is only pvp. It will be added eventually so big shit it's not there on day one.

no, they didn't compare hardcore deaths to the repair costs, they said Hardcore people could give you advice how to not die as much /be safer overall.

Right... and when you die in hardcore your character is deleted. So it seems like they're almost drawing a parallel between paying full repair costs as being as bad as your character being deleted. That's probably just them exaggerating it a bit though, or maybe me just reading into it in a odd way.

I read it like this; "If you think you are dying too much and want to lower your repaircost, talk to the Hardcore guys, they are really good at not dying."

Or L2play instead of being a trash casual and it won't cost you that much.

We need some REAL solutions for all the ingame stuttering problems (and yes.. it IS a software problem!). For example, I've exchanged my ATI radeon 4890 with an ATI radeon 6950 (which should be faster in any sense of the way), but ingame I experience MORE stuttering and 'loading' moments when encountering new creatures or events.. its ridiculous!! And i'm not the only player with a pretty decent gaming pc who has these problems.

Also, the lag on the Europa server is horrible, I have a fast internet connection and ping about 180-200 ms average.. never had this in my entire life in any other game!

    Edit:

Also, for the ati users, the 12.3 catalyst drivers seem to be less affected with the stuttering problems compared to the latest 12.4 drivers.

Yes it is, i run a Alienware with 16gb ram, a 6970, diablo + windows on my SSD and so on and i also have stuttering at times.
So yes, its very much a software problem and btw, my windows is a fresh install with virussoftware and so on, so dont even try peeps.. :/

Yeah...it's always the "software" and never the persons pc, right. ;)
