Very nice, props to you. All I would add is that this screen should be what appears after you hit the "PUBLIC CHAT" button on the default screen. The screen when you first log in should remain as it is now as this screen looks very intimidating to a new/casual user and many people don't want to see public chat ever and they shouldn't have to.
But yeah, great work, I hope Blizz implements something like this.

There will be Hardcore Only achievements and rewards, cosmetic hardcore only improvments to your banner being one that Blizz has mentioned. I hope they add more, a red outline on your Blizz forum avatar denoting hardcore status would be cool.Posted in: Hardcore Discussion

Voted Barbarian, almost voted Demon Hunter.Posted in: Theorycrafting and Analysis
Barbarian has the hard-coded advantage simply in abilities that gives him a higher drop rate. Seems most people value that because he's leading the poll.
Wizard is second, but i'll make the case for Demon Hunter. My guess is that Wizard is second because Sorc was good MFing in D2. Reason Sorc was good? Mobility and powerful ranged AOE.
Playing the Beta I'd have to say Demon Hunter wins for mobility hands down, vault can be semi-spammed (unlike teleport) and can be talented to give a speed boost everytime its used. DH is ranged and Chakrams are a crazy-powerful AoE.
That's basically it, Barb has hard-coded advantage and DH will be the most mobile class, and is ranged with powerful AoE so it's a high candidate for best MF class.

Always play hardcore together after a certain level. Preferable with a friend who has a different provider and lives in a diff area. So that if one of you DC's for what ever reason the other can still finish of the demons and give you a change to stay alive
Sounds about right, you only have to live for 10 seconds until the client closes. Even lag and a disconnect doesn't have to mean you lose. It can be planned for and survived, just one more thing to take into account with your hardcore character.
