To the people trying to be smart: I read the message. However they only give a time estimate. That doesn't mean this is exactly when servers will come up. The server status list should be updated regularly to reflect the actual server status. It's on the Blizzard D3 site, why would it inconsistent?

I've had this expired bid listed on my current bid section of my AH for over a week now. I didn't really pay it much mind, but it just caused me to lose an auction.

I was bidding in the last 10 seconds and the bid was too low, the item that I wanted swapped places with that expired bid and I quickly went to retype an offer and it said bid was expired (because I was bidding on the week old item that was still on my list). So frustrating!

Bump. Still looking! Paying good moneys.

Tal Rasha's set is clearly a Wizard set, and while all the classes can wear many of the items of any of the sets (such as chest armor, pants, etc.) I feel that the helm for Tal Rasha's set should be a Wizard hat. I also feel that it should have a stat such as +max AP, or +AP on crit.

If you compare Tal's set to Zunimassa's (the WD set) you notice that the helm for the WD set is a WD specific item. WD and Wizard are both classes that have helms as class specific items, I believe that the helm for the Wizard set should reflect that, just like the WD set helm does.

I'm sure there's plenty of people who could care less but for those of you who do care -- how do you feel about this?


Edit: Looking over the sets for each class, each class's set has 2 class specific items except the Wizard. Barb has 2h wep and belt, Monk has staff and helm, WD has mojo and helm, DH has cloak and 1h xbow. Wizard just has the source. QQ

The thing that I find most interesting about this post is the fact that it took you 4 days to acquire 100k gold. I get that in one A3 run easy.

So you're getting a full 3% of damage dealt...Nice! It seems however that it does not apply to things like hydra or blizzard (or else damage is too low to notice against my normal health per second).

How do these coefficients interact with % life steal, if at all?

Say I have a 3.0% damage dealt as life weapon. How would it interact with skills?

Reaching ~500 dex for a wizard is a good idea for your mitigation. Str does give a boost to your armor. Sure, int and vit could have been buffed but I dont actually mind a bit of dex/str.

I know there are benefits to having those stats, that's why I used the word "near". However I find it difficult to stack dex/str on items when I'm already looking for high int, res all, vitality, life%, crit chance, crit %, etc. It just falls very low on the list of desired stats for a wizard and if you only have the str/dex from the helm and none on any other items, it's really not benefiting you at all. If you start stacking those stats on other items, you're probably missing out on potentially better stats.

I was looking for a legendary hat with AP/crit on it and came across Storm Crow, the only level 60 legendary Wizard Hat. It seems to me that in 1.04 Blizzard was trying to make legendary items more specific to certain classes (a good example would be the Three Hundredth Spear). Why would they make a class specific item such as Storm Crow give +stats that barely benefit the class that uses the item?

The helm is nice, but why not remove the near pointless +dex/str and up the int on the helm to something like 150-300.

Comparing this legendary helm to other class specific legendary helms (those for WD/monk), I don't understand why Blizzard left the useless stats on the Wizard Hat but got the others looking like they should.

Feels a bit like they are neglecting the Wizard.

Additionally -- I don't want to get much into this because I don't want it to be the focus of this post but I personally would rather use pieces of the Zurimassa set (WD) over Tal's because I feel the early set bonuses and item stats are just straight up better.
