The thread of people asking off work at release got me thinking. How much time do you all plan on investing in the game? Obviously I can't play diablo 3, 6 hours everyday like I did with diablo 2 while I was in middle school.
Would not give up anything for D3. Not college, not job, not girl.
I would just play it within the week of release when I have time. I do SP mostly anyway.

i to have an un-usual vacation time request but i need to input a reason. i think im going to announce it
as soon as d3 is announced and say "Personal reasons" and they might think its for something medicinal and
wont ask questions.. that way i dont have to lie.
i work at Tech support, 5 shifts a week, 9-10 per shift.
when D3 comes out, i intend to ask for a week off, my reason?
a 7 day trip across the country to celebrate my grandmothers
and grandfathers 50th anniversary. - I know, its lame!
but for that reason exactly i started this thread! for us, the
crazy ones who'll take a few days off just to play D3 as it comes
out, what do you do for a living, and how will you lie to your
boss in order to make that happen?
I would like nothign too awesome because I am buying the Standard Edition. As a Standard Edition user I do not want to feel I have missed out on a real big thing -- that specific feeling.
That feeling should only come from being a fanatic;
and not from what I did not get with the Standard Edition.

some dipers... so we wont have to go to the bathroom.

that an ingame-treat, and a USB version of D1-2-lod is in place...

It's just that Blizzard are Blizzard and they have this tendency to keep everything in ninja-like secrecy and everything they give out is like a small treasure, at least to me But, sadly, Blizzard will never reveal a kick-ass cinematic before the actual release of the game

reading all that info about artisans and reading these forums and sticking
my head so deep in D3, well, i forgot there are still a few decades until
they give a release date...

there is still at least 1 April fools day untill the release (im being
too optimistic again am i?), so don't give them any ideas.
i think that like Magistrate, i hoped for ALOT! and maybe i kind of wanted
something as kick ass as... idk, Tycus (And no, i do not like SC a millioth
of how much i like D3) but maybe tonight when i get home, ill set the mood,
light some candles, turn off the light and watch the teaser again... give
it a fair chance...

Hey, did anyone notice they didnt say ANYHTING about reducing the number of promissed rares from boss while u have 5NVM from 2 to 1? which they clearly stated a week ago that they will do just that? or did i miss it in the patch notes?
