9/10 - I like the band. It's also sticks out from the other avatars. Did you pick it out of being a huge fan of the band, or because you think it's artsy?Posted in: Off-Topic

Posted in: General DiscussionQuote fromnot too much sense if you had a normal metabolism. I do eat that many calories, I am on a very strict diet. However, I am 6' and weigh 165 lbs. Don't ask me how, I have never been able to gain weight and I get hungry every two hours. I have never meet anyone who can out eat me. Funny enough, I had a friend who tried to eat as much as me, he gain 20lbs in two months. I moved and he told me he lost all of that weight since he stopped eating as much.
I spend 800 a month on food and I don't buy very expensive ingredients
That sounds like a blessing and a curse. You can eat the things I can only eat every couple of months due to the calories. I have to have alot of discipline to not gain weight. I also run 6-7 miles 5-6 days a week. It's all very frustrating. Though it sounds like your food bill for the month is huge.

I had mine pulled out in the military. It took 2 days before I was able to eat solid foods. Even after 2 days it was still pretty sore.Posted in: General Discussion

Posted in: General DiscussionQuote fromI have seen it recently and it still looks great. It did not look as great when I first saw it but that was at a very large screen at the time which was designed for Imax movies.
Remember that movie was made before we had CGI and many other features that ILM introduced with the ground breaking movie Star Wars for visual effects.
I also like the flow of the movie and how the movie goes to different scenes.
Fair enough. I'm not really arguing against the visuals of the movie. In its time it was definitely amazing. The transitioning of the scenes was definitely a turn off to me. I always found it interesting, like with music, two people can listen to the same melody in the song, one person notices the guitar, the other notices the drums.
Another movie I remember hating was "Because I said so" starring Keaton and Mandy Moore.

Do you think there is some nostalgia that is influencing your opinion of it? I saw it when I was 21(24 now). There's no way the movie is still relevant in the visual age. Are you referring to the artistic aspect of the scenes?Posted in: General Discussion
There are some movies I watched as a kid that don't measure out very well to today's movies, but I still love them!

Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from... I am in shock. How on earth can anyone dislike this movie? HOW?!
It's been a few years since I've seen it. I can't back up my opinion with alot of excerpts from the movie. It was just a bad vague memory. I do remember it feeling extremely mess. I'm sure there was some over arching poetic-creative-abstract-deepness to the movie. I just thought it came across silly. I'm sure when it first came out it was visually impressive. You always came off like a pretty liberal-artsy kinda guy who is into that stuff.

My cousin on the left.
You are all too attractive to compete with, though.
Can I have her number? Both good looking people.

I really hated Solaris with George Clooney and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Both movies received fairly positive reviews. They just didn't appeal to me.Posted in: General Discussion

You know what feature they haven't discussed in SC2? Fastest Map Possible. That was literally half the playlist.Posted in: Starcraft & SC2
