I'm hoping for a bit longer.. let's say 2-3 more acts. Same amount of quests. Better rewards so all quests are worthy.

Agreed, I'd like a little bit more length, not too much though.

posted a message on UI pics soon!! (Hopefully...)
    Quote from "BryanM" »
Those images came from a pretty big game's website... Joystickkkk I think. They've since taken them down as they are wuss bags.

You're not allowed to play that demo, you're not even ALLOWED TO LOOK AT IT.
It's the same attitude CAVE suddenly got up their butts - god help them if someone actually cares about their games.

So anyway. Highlights from the UI:

Your character is so epic, there is a stain glass window of them in your character sheet screen. That epic. Stain glass window.

Plague of Frogs has a cute little froggie as its spell icon. So cute!

Wish I could share these things outside of lame textual descriptions. But, that would have required me to save them to my hard disk! And then the gestapo would put me put against the wall if I did!

Heat death of the universe will happen before you'll see an official screen with (something useful) some UI showing.

I'm not entirely sure what you're speaking about...

Screen shots are more of the same but still appreciated. The artwork on the other hand is awesome, makes me want to jump into that world. The blood spatters are really cool too, it would be awesome if they had a system where you see cuts and dents on armour depending on your health level.

Physics in games using any engine r kinda quirky and are far from perfect looking....

Also arent physics generally handled by the CPU and not the vid card?

    I'm pretty sure they are.

Seems like they will add a good deal of diversity and put a greater incentive on using more than one skill, so it seems really awesome. The names may not seem too original but they need to be simple and intuitive enough for a first time player to pick one up an understand what it can do.

I'd really suggest the Sin Wars novels, pretty well written and they explain a good deal of "Sanctuary Mythology".

Please read all of my posts before trying to act smart.
Maybe they're the longest because I actually think before I write them.

Dude, I read your posts, they were coherent ideas at first then you defending said ideas from "fascists",(I still don't get this one, we're fascists because we don't agree with you?) then you just began insulting other's intelligence, swearing and babbling angrily about things like what the definition of a "rough percentage" is. If you want your ideas to be taken seriously act like an adult, not like the children you despise so much.

So you think that you're responding in a completely mature and logical manner by calling us fascists and likening us to "priests that play with little boys"? Then you still point at others and say they are resorting to out of place insults? You say that you find it hilarious people are still responding to your posts even though yours have been the longest posts in the thread. Maybe you should relax and play with some of the "fly" people you met on Diablo II then come back when you've calmed down a little.

Hmm, i dont like that "slowmotion orb" around her, cause think in pvp, she will just set that on and other characters will not have a chance do do any damage on her..

It will be balanced, I'm sure that when Diablo II was just being shown people had concerns about Bone Prison or Whirlwind making dueling too easy but those turned out fine.

    1. Chat filter
    2. Rated T (E.G. Little bitches 10-14 coming in and being... little bitches.)
    3. Too easy (If it has a more steep learning curve it will sweep out the retards.)

The best part about Diablo 2 (In my opinion, besides the actual gameplay) is that it is old enough so younger people who are looking for eye candy and not a quality game play WoW or some other game instead.

    1. Diablo II didn't have one, I don't see why Diablo III would, but regardless I'm sure it will just be an optional feature.
    2. The rating system is a guideline, not a law, it is in my experience a useless deterrent for kids and "inappropriate" games, children of all ages are going to get their hands on the game and play it to their heart's content regardless as to whether you find them annoying and they have every right to play it.
    3. Blizzard's attitude towards designing games has always been "easy to pick up, difficult to master." They don't want to scare away potential customers with over complication and difficulty, they want to attract people by making the game as intuitive and simple as possible while still pleasing hardcore gamers. Also I like your choice of words- "sweep out the retards", I see you are an exemplary figure of maturity.

The only example I can think of is when Qual Kwkh introduces himself when you arrive in Harrogath playing a Druid he says- "A Druid in Harrogath! Have things truly come to this? After the Mage Wars, I assumed Druids would never be seen around here again. You take a great risk coming here! To be honest, I have never been in comfort with your shape-shifting kind, but I do respect your search for balance and peace. So, if you trust us enough to let you enter our gates, then I trust you enough to let you stay."

I think it could be pretty cool, but generating a different home with so many features for each character online will really eat up Blizzard's online resources and when 50% of the characters online are mules it won't be all that much use. I think it's sounds cool, but it just doesn't seem practical.

Also today it looks like Blizzard sent it's own lobbyists to Washington to help shake things up.

I think they'll get things moving along nicely

Hahahahah, that is such an awesome picture.

Yes there was a recent revelation by Bashiok that Act I was in fact not complete, it's not entirely clear how far along they are, and it's especially difficult to judge considering Blizzard is famous for revamping and changing their games as well as pushing back release dates. As for what they plan to change/ add, well no one knows that other than Blizzard obviously.
