So let's stack 5 elements in the build for 15000% wDPS.

Here's a better idea: petition for more sets and unique rather than gutting the niche and flavour of an existing set.

I agree it's frustrating for wizard that most skills have either one element or every element, which means that if you want to use certain skills you have to build certain ways. And if you want to use certain elements you have to use certain runes (even if you don't much like them).

Though I'd take a LOT more sets and uniques over changing the "focused" skills any day. It's flavorful that disintegrate is naturally only arcane, even if occasionally frustrating. Having a unique that changed it would be cool, but changing the base element spread less so.

posted a message on LoH Question
On live LoH is triggered for every target hit by an attack, but is related to a coefficient.

For instance Explosive Blast with Chain Reaction returns 11% of your LoH per each target hit. After the change it will return 100% of your LoH per use as long as it hits one target. This is a net nerf in high density areas or with skills that are multitarget AND have a strong coefficient (Acid Cloud).

But yes, the new channeling LoH calculation is LoH returns based on AS per channeled second as long as you hit a target.

Overall this is a buff for single target LoH, which is a good thing against boss level enemies. Now if only all the procs in the game could be coefficient decoupled.

    Legendary gems may change that.
Yep. But the thing is that builds that DON'T require you to be in melee will also become much better with new gems, resulting in better progress in Grifts. :)
That actually depends on how much damage they can contribute and what kind of other skills the class has. It's not as simple as "if not in melee = must be better".

Given the EB buffs I'm seeing on the PTR I don't think ruling EB out entirely is warranted at the moment. Especially seeing some of the available gems.

Edit: BTW Crusader full set is actually pretty bland. Yes it's got a lot of synergy but it also places way too much emphasis on one skill (Champion), with no alternatives. Both of the Wizard sets are actually far more flexible than other class sets. If there are any issues with synergy it's that Firebird's guaranteed stats kinda suck. And that wizard legends are expected to pick up the slack for having no uber set bonuses/ while being limited i navailable number of slots (1)

Is isn't any other build that will progress any faster than a Wow build. Hydra build takes too much time and all you do is kite.
But only to hit a brick wall called T6. Survivability isn't easy when you're running into crowds in T6 with the EB build. Sure its fun to have but you're only going to be disappointed when you find out it's very limited.
    Legendary gems may change that.

How about a ressurect passive? If you can't be immune, live twice!

Some classes have them, right? If it isn't on a set you're wearing already.

Yeah... WD, wizard, monk, andcrusader have those. Those are passives on amulets I'd take for any of those classes any day. They're awesome unless you're doing something like normal bounties where you're never dying, but then you can also wear a fun amulet like the Murlocket or whatever... ;-)

About the immunity amulets - can't really say I would prefer them. I have an almost perfect Star of Azkaranth on my crusader (with CDR instead of elemental damage, otherwise perfect), and I would instantly switch it out for any other amulet that gives me just 1% more DPS (well, and if I could afford to lose the CDR). Sure, at first it sounds insanely nice to be immune to fire, but in reality it's not. Molten? I don't care, usually I'm done killing all mobs and looting before the explosion takes off. If you die to Molten, don't even think about ever stepping into a 35+ Greater Rift ;-)The other fire damage spell that really hurts are fire chains. Those are really nice to heal me up and dodge incoming damage. However, any other damage spell (like Arcane Enchanted) hits so much harder than the Fire Chains heal me that it only works if the mob have no other (melee) damage affix. And Fire Chains aren't the most common mobs around either. All other fire affixes I don't care. So in the end... the Star sounds OP, but it really is not. In my personal ranking it's only third tied with Mara's Kaleidoscope. For my holy shotgun Crusader Electrified is actually worst, therefore the lightning amulet is awesome; and of course Julia's Cameo. The cold immunity amulet... meh, useless, just like Ice Climbers. Cold is annoying, but doesn't really kill you often enough to make it even worth switching the amulet.

On Greater Rifts, where you can't switch gear (unless you Teleport to town - which might only be an option for Rift Guardians, but I hope they disable that as well) I wouldn't wear any of those amulets because of their affix. I will wear whatever amulet has the best stats overall. If that happens to be one of the immunity amulets, so be it, but there is no clear winner in the discussion of Hellfire amulet versus immunity amulets versus other legendary/set amulets. Heck, if you really like the immunity amulets, you should consider the new Blackthorne's as well!

If you think Ice Climbers are useless wiether you're wearing 6pc Akkan or multi piece BTs. Immujnity to nearly all CC is one of the best effects in the game.

Depends on what kind of passives you have access to. And what kind of immunity you think you need.

I mean I'd happily take indestructible over immunity to a single damage type on my crusader.

    Quote from Draco_Draco
Season only legendaries have yet to be released. Chances are that this will be one of them (considering it is very class specific).

That said, unlocking all armors is kinda meh. I mean, sure, you free up a skill slot (but do you really? You won't get your prismatic or pinpoint bonus through this effect, which are pretty big fucking reasons for taking the skill in the first place).

    What you get is essentially:
    12% melee dmg reduc.
Chill enemies if they melee you.
    35% armor.
and the 147% wep dmg lightning aura.

I mean, I'd straight up trade 12% melee dmg reduc/147% wep dmg lightning for prismatic or pinpoint any day of the week either way <.<.
12% Melee DR is nothing to scoff at, chilled enemies are slower, and it's at the very least free damage. The slot matters, but I could see it on a legendary armor, or on a lackluster source.

Where I'd really like to see it is Chantodo's, to spice up the set bonus a bit.

    It depends heavily on class.

For Crusader? One of the best effects in game, most crusader passives are on par with an extra primary (and don't fool yourself, you won;t be using a hellfire that doesn't have crit anyway).

For other classes? "Second chance" passives will no doubt be popular in high level rifts. But there are other amulets with great legend effects.
