With D3's new graphics, I think that hell has so much potential and has the possibility to be one of the coolest (hottest =p) places we visit.

Imagine the Barbarian leaping through the gates of hell and landing on the brittle floor, cracking it with his immense weight and momentum, screaming something along the lines of, "You demons will plead for eternal torture in Hell after seeing what I will do to you!"

    LOL

oh yes oh yes.. i would love any type of pvp match implemented - all would be so much fun. i think an awesome pvp match style would be something similar to wc3's Defense of the Ancients custom map, suited d3 style of course

posted a message on Artificial Gravitional Fields?
Okay well... first off, lets change this whole UFO terminology.. U-F-O, or unidentified flying object, is anything in the sky that we are unable to identify.. it could be a missile, a falling person, or even a pig humping a sheep in the air. So u see, we should refer, from now on, to the type of UFO that u are talking about as a "flying saucer", for lack of a cooler word. (lol)

Now for ur question... I do not believe that when people see flying saucers in our sky that there are alien visitors piloting these ships. Now i have never seen a flying saucer so my opinion may be biased; however, in general i think that these UFO and flying saucer sitings are mostly: delusions, possibly military testing, hoaxes, and object confusion.

I am relatively a nub at physics when it comes to equations and theories of this magnitude where we are attempting to make an object counter gravity, but i think that electromagnets may have something to do with the future of flying crafts.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_saucers this may answer a few questions u have. ;)

    Quote from "LinkX" »

This is why it's not allowed to use such language.

This poor child hung himself from his second story bedroom with extention wire, because he was bullied and called "fag" and "gay".

And to think, his birthday was to be the same day as the International Day of Silence.

Edit: Added link to full story.

This is a very sad story..
However, pointing the blame at the language the bullies were using is not the answer. I do not think this boy even understood that the insults that were constantly being thrown at him were questioning his sexuality. Bullying in general needs to be targeted, the bully and the victim need to be taught that this is not an alright thing to do. I wish somebody could have helped this boy to stand up for himself before he took his own life.

Just because time travel to the past hasnt been figured out doesnt mean its impossible. People thought going to the moon was impossible, but look at us now.

wait wait wait... ok i havent read the entire thread yet, but when did we make it to the moon? r u sure ur no referring to this poorly shot 1969 film that was made to increase patriotism in a time of national downfall? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMINSD7MmT4

posted a message on Do Aliens exist?
My answer is: Of course aliens exist!
and yes i am talking about the intelligent kind =p ...

I love astronomy (no not astrology lol), i love physics, i love learning about the universe. The universe is big, so big in fact, that we really cant comprehend how big it is. with this being said even with miniscule probability of intelligent life inhabiting any given planet considering wut we know about the planets in our vascinity now, i still believe there are an countless number of different species of beings in the universe. I think that some of these species are alot smarter than us, and i believe some of these species are alot dumber than us. At this point in our existence however, i do not believe an intelligent being from a different planet has visited earth or even our solar system for that matter. Relativity theory, quantum physics, and numerous equations of the like are of great interest to me and i wish i could see some of the theoretical concepts behind these theories tested in my life time; however, i think i just wont be able to make it that long (im 19 now =p). Interstellar travel in the a star wars like fashion seems just impossible to me with ones time relativity correlating with velocity. if a species has mastered interstellar travel and they do in fact still inhabit a planet and are not nomads (or even if they are), i hope somehow infinite probability brings them to earth and we learn from their technology and theories (lol). but for now, i cant see how interstellar travel would work or how a species may have accomplished it. If i am wrong and the aliens have landed and are somehow hidden away in area 51.. then shame on the US government! (not very likely :))

posted a message on What class are you leaning towards?
Alrighty. well, this is a tough one.

I have always enjoyed playing the sorc in d2 and the reason for this was her maneuverability. teleporting around, being evasive and quick.
I also enjoyed playing barbs and the reason for this was their ability to jump ("heeeem"). Which is a useful skill enabling him to evade monsters and use the element of surprise in pvp =p.

In d3 i am hoping all chars will be able to jump in which case i think my choice as of right now would be the female witch doctor, to try something out of the ordinary for me; however, if the classes other than sorc and barb do no have maneuverability skills that enable me to be quick and perform escape tactics etc. i will have to go with SORC - 1st choice, and BARB - 2nd choice..

Aside: from wut we saw in the gameplay trailer at wwi, the barb had to jump across a broken bridge using his leap skill, but i believe bashiok once stated that this was just a set up event specifically for the trailer and not all classes would have an ability to jump across this obstacle.
I hope all characters can jump and the barb just has a powered up version for his skill. this would greatly increase my options for char selection

im sorry, flagship studios or wutever they are calling themselves these days need to just stop trying.

hellgate london = flop and rly dissapointing (was a very cool concept however)
mythos = awful attempt at d2 recreation mmo style

and now torchlight?? they should be crawling back to blizz on their hands and knees if they ever want a future in video game development. u cant compete with a company that pulls revenues over $250,000,000 per year off of 1 game!
