posted a message on Show me your T4-T6 DH builds (gear and abilities)
    Armory with spec on sig.

I can run t6, but it's not optimal - t4 is easy, t5 is the sweet point between speed and challenge. It's all due to badly rolled pieces/not optimized gear for the spec, if i manage to get new gear to roll the correct stats on, t6 should be more than simply doable.

Usually quiver setup favors the use of a bow/xbow - a single 1h xbow ideally does the same total damage of other weapons (more small attacks compared to less bigger ones), but in the end it has also faster hatred consumption and less burst damage, both extremely valuable things.

Dual wielding, you keep the AS on check (15% compared to a 20% from quiver) and you get an additional socket that compensates for the fact 1h xbows hit for less.

This said, i played a lot with the 1h/quiver setup because i wasn't lucky enough to find other decent 2h weapons, and while my damage may have been less than optimal, the faster attacks let me play an easier hit and run strategy to avoid bad things from elites, dying less thus farming more efficiently.

It's about numbers, but also about playstyle.

Imho it's not worth until you have a very specific set of weapons (basically Natalya + Calamity because of the stats/specials).

A quiver as you said provides a lot of stats that are pretty nice to have; dual wield can offset some of them and an additional socket brings a lot of damage for sure - still you'll be equally able to farm fast with a quiver.

Anyway, a weapon can roll dex/vita/socket/AS or dmg% and +discipline so it can be a nice substitute for a quiver.

posted a message on DH video thread - post your videos here
There are a lot of videos around about DH, and many of them just get lost in the flow of threads birth/death. Hence if you have a video you want to show other people, post it here!

To people who already have posted them, please repost a link here since there are really a lot of them, and you'll have more visibility - the same way people will have them readily at hand when needed.

Well, a link to armory would be cool to have to check the stats on your items.

    Anyway:

    1. the cold damage on your weapon is added to the base damage before counting the skill and stats multipliers. Think about it as "+min/max dmg". The point is that skills have a damage type that will override that type of damage, so your CA for example will still count tyhat bonus damage and will still do fire damage. The "+% elemental damage" is actually "+% elemental SKILLS damage" - this means that the only element that counts is the one written on your skill tooltip.

    2. it depends entirely on items' stats and your build/passives. Also depends on your playstyle - a 2h xbow is slower but has biggers hits, a bow has smaller, faster hits and gives you slightly more mobility.
