Leaping spider is a cheap dps spam, and since its dmg seem to trigger hit recovery, it works like a minor slow as well
Plague bats is my mid range cone AoE and single target, pretty decent dmg but burns through mana fast
Grasp of the dead is my AOE slow, runed to 6sec CD, will use it a lot to get some distance
Rain of toads is my cheap poison based AOE
Dogs and Garg both runed for poison
Passives chosen for extra dog and dmg reduction
I know I'd run into issues with poison resistant mobs, but I like themed builds. And I guess this build lacks a panic button, with with plenty of summons and almost spammable AOE slow I'd take my chances (will get my face chewed of by extra fast extra strong teleporting waller though)
I think it looks like a solid and fun build personally. I'd consider switching out the Spiders for Poison dart personally, just to have a more reliable (and cheap) single target ability. Not to mention it would get the Poison rolling on the targets at range.
I'm not sure how solo-viable this would be in inferno, with the lack of "real" escape or heals. But if played right I think it could be very strong pre-inferno and especially grouped up with more people.
I'm having my doubts about Inferno viability due to something you already mentioned: Poison resistant mobs. That said I'm also concerned about the lack of general CC. GotD alone (and on a six second cooldown) doesn't seem like enough. At the very least, I'd try to drop one offensive for an 'escape' ability; possibly Horrify or Spirit Walk? Personally I'd drop the toads for that, but that's my two cents.

wonder why people post builds when they have no idea how:
1. Inferno looks like
2. Mana regen / Mana is at 60 on geared char
Simply due to the fact that playing with builds is fun, speculation is fun and there is just nothing better to do.
Also dealing with the mana regen, poison resist and escape mechanism issues the other two posters have mentioned:
Mana regen: I don't see an issue here, plague bats is intended to be a mana burn, and with how cheap leaping spider and rain of toads is, it should be mana neutral
Poison resist mobs: I agree huge issue here, that is why spiders deal physical damage and I'd like to think their single target dmg is really good per cast (19% weapon dmg, 4 spiders and each last long enough the deal 3 bites = 228% weapon dmg per cast)
Defence issue: while I don't have a panic button per se, but leaping spiders (a huge flood of them) affects mob pathing, 5 pets gives 5 other targets for mobs to chew on, aoe slow on 6sec cool down and a passive 40% dmg reduction (36% if multiplicative) from bad medicine and jungle fortitude. Still extra fast teleporting waller is going to own me, I'll have to wait and see how often that happens
Agree with blucorp - you could use a dedicated single-target dmg spell. Poison Dart is fantastic in this regard. Plague of Bats, while strong, is still really mana-inefficient against only a single target.
Also, I reckon you should change Desperate Grasp to Unbreakable Grasp. For a long time, my builds would use Desperate Grasp, but once they put Unbreakable Grasp into the beta, I saw how huge a difference that additional +20% (80% total) slow makes. I think it's going to be much more useful than -2 secs on the CD.
When you meet those Fast Nightmarish monsters in the beta, they just move across the default Grasp of the Dead as if it wasn't there. And even with Unbreakable Grasp, they still cross it really fast....I've got a feeling it's going to be more useful :S.
Actually you don't need the cheap cost spell Plague of Toads, because when you're out of mana, it's better to spam Corspe Spiders, which has longer range. If i were you, I would change Plague of Toads to Zombie Charger-Zombie Bears, a massive poison damage aoe. It supports Bad Medicine better because the more enemies you hit, the more damage it will reduce. Others seem quite solid, imo.
Point taken about grasp of the dead (my biggest issue with unbreakable grasp is that fact that it looks too much like a sprint realm spell rather than poison so it didn't go with the theme well lol)
regarding the leaping spider v.s. poison dart, I personally think the spiders is actually better than darts. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each spider deals 19% dmg, 4 spiders in a jar and they see to last long enough to deal 3 attacks thereby making the total dmg output 228% per cast compared to the 180% from splinter darts
Zombie bear is a great skill, but the mana cost is ticking me off a little, in between plague bats and bears, I will be running almost no mana most of the time, while leaping spiders is considered an "AOE" but dmg splits between targets and I don't believe that is enough during the "down time"

What do you guys think? inferno viable?
