I've been looking at alot of armories from different posts today and I've found quite a few builds I'd want to try. This got me thinking if there was a website / tool that could be used to build your builds (heh). I'm not really interested in skills setup, blizz has their own feature for that, but I'm mostly thinking about a way to add items to a char sheet or something and save that gear setup. I could write it down, but if there was a tool online and maybe with visuals like how the char screen is ingame that would be a bit more fun
http://d3up.com/ is what you need (what we all need, actually). It's being updated at the moment, see the progress here. Some stuff doesn't work yet though because armory/game guide/API is still not up-to-date yet. If you want a 100% reliable calculation you need to do it manually; for wizard just take Loroese's spreadsheet, it's perfect. For other classes... well, I guess we have to wait until the API is fixed and D3up is fully working ;-)
If you just want a simple way to pick gear for each slot I had made a web app d3buildplanner.appspot.com that lets you select skills/gear and stat and gear priorities. It's not very fancy looking, just a simple thing and possibly still has bugs. I had made it cause I was thinking up different builds and wanted basically a skill calculator that also let you pick gear.
