I have seen numerous people argue its better hatred generator,but that is absolutely false. If you shoot twice as fast, then you spend hatred twice as fast, and you gain hatred through generators twice as fast. However, you DO NOT get twice as much hatred regeneration, thus a slow 2h is superior in hatred efficiency.
EDIT: I asked in chat, and people are saying its used to proc night stalker to give them infinite disc and thus they can just spam Gloom endlessly to tank mobs in higher MP.

Ive got one and its a huge DPS loss compared to my manticore of about the same value.
I don't get it, is it just for the marked for death proc and attack speed + nightstalker?
Maybe if you had near best in slot I could see the calamity + offhand catching up, but unless you got a few billion to spend I don't see it happening.
