Yup works like a champ, you just need to have all the emulation options turned on, you know you are good if you got a green icon in the bottom right corner.
Then you just mount the image under the Virtual CD/DVD-ROM menu item.

The CD is certainly cheap these days but if cash is tight then you can do this. If the game is still installed on your machine and the only issue is a broken CD then you might be able to play it again.
Download Daemon Tools and you can mount ISO images, in case you haven't heard about them an ISO image is a copy of a CD that can be played off your hard drive, Daemon tools is a free application that lets you mount them like a CD. I play most of my games like this so my CD's don't get butchered.
Than all you have to find an ISO image of the game play CD out there, or get it from a friend or something.
