I'm reinstalling. I was pissed for awhile because I get lots of stuttering while playing D3. Meh, though, I decided I don't care. I'm just gonna live with it
The game is really good so, yeah, I'll just play and be happy. Even if I die sometimes due to stuttering.
My partner and I came in first place at a Two-Headed Giant tournament for the Return to Ravnica pre-release. Two-Headed Giant is basically two versus two, and I'm talking about Magic: The Gathering by the way.
Unrelated as fuck, but yeah, this is the off-topic thread.
I'll start posting here again, now that I'm actually playing D3.
I don't know how anyone could use the RMAH to purchase anything significant... I tried, and had to throw away the stuff I bought. I felt like I was cheating. I'd rather have shitty gear that I worked my ass off for, than a perfectly rolled item I bought with a credit card.
Meh, nothing against it, but it's just not for me.
Last Friday I came third out of thirty-eight people at the Magic: The Gathering tournament I attend every week. I was pretty happy about how well I did, especially considering I've only been playing for five weeks or so. I won six booster packs, which is like $24 Canadian. The entry fee for the night is only $5.
Also, it's been a week and three days since my last cigarette.
I am nearly finished my playthrough of Knights of the Old Republic. This is the first time in a long ass time I've actually played the same game all the way through without taking any kind of a break to play something else in my free time. My dedication has payed off, and I plan to continue this strategy with every game I play in the future (providing I actually like the game).
You might wish to pick up KotOR 2 then (released on Steam recently). While the gameplay is essentially the same, I personally like the story much more as it is much more complex. If you do, however, don't forget to pick up the Restored Content Mod since Obsidian was forced to release a fairly unfinished game. Especially the droid factory is not to be missed.
I already have KotOR II because I picked up the Knights of the Old Republic Collection at my local EB. I won't dismiss the restored content mod but I'd like to play through vanilla first. I would never play a mod my first time through a game! That's just the way I am I guess...

I played in a weekly Magic: The Gathering tournament called Friday Night Magic yesterday. I won two and lost two, and I am neither pleased nor dissatisfied with the performance of my zombie horde. I think that I could have done better had I used all of my Lashwrithe and my fourth Vampire Nighthawk. Also, I ended up winning the same random prize I won last week.
I've eaten an excessive amount of spicy food for most of my life and I've built up quite a tolerance for it. However, I've recently started practicing moderation because I think that it would be awful to develop a health problem and be unable to eat spicy stuff in the future.
Last night I participated in a weekly Magic: The Gathering tournament called Friday Night Magic. I ended up winning three and losing two. My deck held up and my zombie horde served me well. Also, I won a random prize (Cathedral of War).
I can't wait until next Friday.
Sounds like fun! I was always more into d&d cards even though they did not have a board game like mtg... I feel like posting pictures of my awesome cards
I just started playing MTG last Saturday and that was my first Friday Night Magic. I learned a lot last night due to playing in a competitive setting for the first time. It was nice because most of the people I played against would provide helpful advice, both during and after the match. I had a really great time!

I started playing Magic: The Gathering on Saturday and chose to play Black. I was playing again yesterday, and decided to buy more. I bought the 2013 Fat Pack and I ended up pulling the Black Planeswalker. Fuck yeah!
For the love of god, as long as the girl doesn't repulse you, if you have quite a bit in common, don't shut her down. Hours of interesting conversation are far superior to sex with a hot chick. Don't lust after someone initially for their looks, the attraction and lust will come later when you fall in love and are aroused by the chemistry you have with one another.
tl;dr
Common Interests > Looks (to an extent of course, just don't put looks way ahead)
I wouldn't date a girl that isn't somewhat of a nerd. I don't care if she is a little bit ugly, or a little bit chubby. As long as I am somewhat attracted to her and we can relate and discuss mutual interests, I don't give a fuck.

Fucking awesome!
I am going to be behind as fuck when I get back to Diablo III.
