I think I'm done with this game. I know it's not a huge deal to anyone here, but I figured I'd just throw it out there just in case.
I'm undecided on whether or not I want to fully delete my account, let it go inactive, or use it to help fund each of your resource pools. In any case, I will likely be emptying out each of my colonies and giving those resources to members of this forum. It will be first come, first serve, and I'll be sure to post how many of each resource I have available for taking.
Maybe I'm just being passive-aggressive about issues regarding both Ikariam and this forum, but that's just the way my cookies crumble.
Oh yeah, what happened to the Diablofans alliance? There is still only one member, and he won't answer my messages on there.
That's because he got himself banned.
It does bring up a point, though: are we going to have an alliance of DiabloFans members, or are we going to do our own thing from now on? It seems more like the latter, but either way works.
I've no problem with that, my population is only like 300 in my capital so wine lasts around 3 days.
I've sent the rest of your wine, along with a little bit extra for the wait. Enjoy it~

Simple. Don't upgrade your governors residence. Supposedly, a guy on Beta server has 6 or 7 colonies, and he hasn't upgraded his governor residences fully. it's simply to expensive, and the payoff from losing the corruption doesn't equal what you spent to upgrade the residence.
So far, I only have my residences at lvl 1
Heh, I would try the same thing, except I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I like everything to be nice, neat, and organized on any game I play (seriously, my Diablo II mules are/were labeled by item type, grade, and character class; a bit obsessive, but kind of funny to think about considering I'm sort of a slob about organizing IRL, lol).
So, expensive or not, each one of my colonies has to be fully upgraded before I'm satisfied.
As I mentioned in a PM, I'm only able to send part of your wine out at the moment. A good majority of my ships are on the way to Ullion's colony, so I'll send the rest of your wine out as soon as that fleet returns.
Also, just to avoid any confusion, I've sent the wine directly from my wine colony, Corcyra.
oh, thanks Weq! I've sent the 3500. Good to do business with you again.
All my colonies are like.. maxed out. I have 3, so I am obtaining crystal, wine and sulfur. The city levels are 11,10 and 8. Academy levels are all 11/12. So not much more to do now except do more research. And I'm around 80% done seafaring, 57% done military, 63% science and about 70-80% economics.
What do I do now? =/ The only thing I've been aiming for is to build a new colony to get more marble. But to do so, I need a crap load of marble(around 5-6000 marble). Not to mention I'll also need around 6000 marble for all 3 governor palaces thingies to destroy all corruption (again). Ugh =/
No problem. It looks like my ships are going to be busy for quite some time, so I'll be sure to get the rest of the marble out to you as soon as I possibly can. And thank you for the treaty; my citizens appreciate it.
To be honest, though, I really don't play that much anymore. Things take so long to build and maintain now that I'm starting to lose some interest in the game. My capital is level 16 and will take 20+ hours to expand, plus I will need a metric fuckton of resources to expand each of my governor's palaces before setting up a new colony (and will need even more resources for that).
It's just gotten to the point where it's tedious now. It was pretty fun at first, seeing progress with each building stage, but now I'm not seeing that anymore. I don't know, really. I like it, but it's sort of boring now.
I figure I'll probably play only a little bit now. If anyone still needs resources, I'll be willing to trade, but don't feel obligated to pay me back.
Weqqy! By any chance, are you able to trade 3900:3900? My sulfur for your marble? ><'
edit: Oh and Weq, I'd be interested in a cultural goods treaty. But how do we do it? DX
Sure, I can do that.
I'm a bit low on ships at the moment, so I'll send 3000 out right now, and the other 900 when more of my ships are free.
For the cultural assets treaty, it's just like if you were to send me a message in the game. If you click on the drop-down box, it should have different treaties to choose from, so just select the cultural assets one, and things should be peachy.
Is 2,700 : 2,700 good? My crystal glass colony is rather small, so it harvests a lot slower than my marble one does. I might have over 3,000 by tomorrow.
That'll be fine. Don't worry about paying me back right away if you can't; I've got my own glass colony, so I'm not really in any rush. Just whenever you get the chance.
All I need are your coordinates, and I'll send the wine right out.
Anyone here have a ton of wine for trade? I'm offering marble or crystal glass in a 1:1 ratio trade.
How much do you need? My wine colony is working overtime, so I have plenty to spare for trading. I'd be interested in crystal glass, if you're willing.
Would anyone be interested in a cultural goods treaty? I have one with two other people right now, and it's a great way to get a little extra happiness boost for your colonies (provided you have a museum).
ANyways, thanks Req, I'll try and send you some sulfur I guess. Can't remember how much I have. I just fill up my warehouse with it then just sell it off because I got a good enough army... lol...
No problem. I sent you 1,000 marble, but you can take your time paying me back if you need to (if at all - won't bother me any). I'm not doing much on the game at the moment anyway; just kind of sitting back, gathering resources, and (apparently) "retiring" spies from neighboring towns.

Aww, no one likes me.

I went ahead and sent you some marble, and you should be getting it in about five hours or so.
300 of each is perfectly fine. The marble is now on its way, and you should be getting it shortly.
How much marble do you need? I have about 600 or so that I can spare right now, and I'd like to trade for wood and sulfur.
Okay then.
