Can you pick one thread? Lol. You guys are arguing in 3 different threads. I mean, I'm all for dedication, but give it a rest, or just make a thread for the sake of the argument. And you should say, 'I argue with who I want to argue with.' I imagine you would have trouble getting in a political argue with a lamp. But whatever, have fun!:D
He's a kid that likes to go against elders because he feels more like a grownup when he does it. 13<18. But yea, he flip-flops too much, not very reliable as a buddy or a friend, and he can get extremely annoying. Therefore, out of sight, out of mind
Murderface has been on this site longer than I have. I'd consider myself an "old" member
Murderface might be older by technicallities, but he has not earned respect. To me, whatever respect he had earned he through away.

I disagree. Whether you have been here for 5 years or five days, if you curse at someone you loose respect, if you treat someone kindly you gain respect. Time, to me at least, means jack. It's the person that I look at, rather then how long they have been here.
Then again that's me...
Read the post again. Long as they give well thought out posts, and respect the long timers, they're in the clear. Judge someone not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Same applies here. Well, used to at least. The problem with newer generations is that they have no respect for their elders or authority, and as we can see its even reaching our little family.

People here who diserve respect have to earn it, it's just not how long they've been here.
I don't see how Carlo has possibly earned it o.o all I know he did the novel but didn't he drop from that?
Welcome beast dude.
Just for future reference, you don't have to put a signature in your post everytime you... post, because your name is already on the left side of your post.
You guys are saying the same thing I said. Respect is earned, not just handed out.
And you haven't been here long enough to know what I've done. Then again, you don't care and neither do the rest. Which is why I hold no respect for you guys, yet I'm respected by Silver, Elfen, Thas, and others who have been around to know my contributions. Perhaps I should be less abrasive and more neutral so that you all respect me more?
Respect should be given to everyone. Not just the older members. If you dont give people the respect they deserve then you loose respect as a person. o.O
No you haven't, so I'll keep that in mind.
And yes, respect should be given to everyone. However, by rule, the only ones that have deserved it are the old-timers. Most of the time we get these short timer posters that ramble, and disrespect the older users like crazy (fbim, Murder) and think they can do what they want, offend who they will for whatever reason, and so on.
When I first came here, I was neutral for MONTHS before I even started getting offensive. I operated, and still operate, on the rule that you must first earn your respect. I'll respect newcomers and others, but once they start tossing red flags is when I start falling away from it.

Nah.

Word.
Only violent towards the idiots, and the defenders of idiots. Give good insightful posts and respect the older members and you'll be fine.
