Alright hows this look? I had a friend help me a bit and used a lot of the resources you guys posted. I'll get a tower case too, so add however much that will be.
I need a new computer before D3 comes out. My current one is a toaster with keys. The only games I really plan on playing are Diablo and minecraft, so if anyone could give me an idea of a decent priced computer (desktop) that will give me good D3 playability, I'd give you so many beta keys.
P.S. I have no beta keys
I just bought a computer from walmart.com. It is actually pretty nice. I used the ibuypower customizable computer setup. I had a fairly tight budget but I went with this since I work at walmart and get a discount. I got an intel i3 2120 3.3 Ghz with a radeon hd 6770 video card with 8gb of ram and 500gb storage. It only cost about $740 without a monitor. While they went cheap on the motherboard it was only because I didn't upgrade to the i5 cpu. Mine is a micro Asrock motherboard but I plan to upgrade it in the future but this should last me quite a while since I really am only going to be playing diablo 3 on my computer I got the NZXT gamma case so it has plenty of room for a bigger motherboard. I would recommend this for anyone who does not want to actually put their own computer together. I cam completely assembled and tested. All I had to do was plug everyting in and go through the standard windows 7 startup. The only thing I don't like that came with the computer is the keyboard. It is a cheapy and doesn't feel the best but I just purchased the razor arctosa to replace it so I am fine with that. They do put their logo on everything (case, keyboard, mouse). The one on the case would be rather easy to remove since it is really just a badge they attached, but the keyboard and mouse are painted on but it doesn't really bother me.
I don''t have the beta so I can't tell how well it will run that but according to canyourunit.com it will run diablo 3 "fast" and on their chart it surpasses the recommended settings.
Hope this helps
