Here's another coincidence I might as well post. Most likely nothing but whatever. On Blizzard's 2008 WWI Site it says, When and where is the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational?
Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of June 2008.
Hall 5 of the Porte de Versailles Exposition Center, Paris, France
WoW gives them too much money and it's made them stupid like the people who actually play WoW,
That's a mature sentiment. [/sarcasm]
Actually, work on D3 started not too long after D2:LOD was released. However, it was brought back to the drawing board around the time that Blizzard North fell apart.
It's my opinion that just because they haven't said anything substantial about it in a long while, that doesn't mean they haven't been working on it in some capacity in the years since then.
Correction, that would be economically unsound to release competing games from the same company...
Correction?
It was simply an emotional statement born of my desire to see such a thing happen; t'was not my intent to pontificate upon the perspicacity of the idea.
Regardless of whether it would be a sagacious move on Blizzard's part, I still think it would be neat; like, groovy, man.
Remember awhile back when I said that a franchise would win the majority of gamers hearts and increase a large amount of revenue if they released several games at one time compared to just one at a time?
Since Wiki's are open-source, anyone in the world can edit them- add, remove, put their own bias and twist on the contents of them, which, since we all know the general public is a lot dumber and not nearly as well-informed (in regards to Diablo) as, oh say, a real reporter or an actual Blizzard representative. Hence, Wiki's are okay to get a report or something started, to get you on your way, but other than that they shouldn't be given more trust than that. It's just reference material. And that particular Wiki hasn't been updated recently, I don't think.
Case in point, mainly for those who think Wikipedia is the be-all, end-all for reliable information:
There was a day a couple of months ago (March 4th, to be exact, now that I've found the thread), on the entry for Richard Gere... some smartass had gone in and edited the info for Spouse(s); changing the 1991-1995 Cindy Crawford to 1991-1995 Gerbil.
Any clown can go in and fuck around with the info. It is NOT "the most amazing thing ever", for that fact alone.

Breathe, peeps.
There's light at the end of the tunnel.
I find myself strangely fascinated in that 'keyboard' could be misspelled by someone in this manner.
Dude, it was bad enough that it was posted once, and that it's still here.
Please don't quote this stuff inside of a normal thread.
"Hey, Doc. It hurts when I do this."
"Well, then, don't do that."
That's a mature sentiment. [/sarcasm]

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Oops, went off-topic a smidge. Sorry, Caliban. (pleeease! no hurt...no kill.)
