I was wondering is there any benefit to crit damage outside of the usual spreadsheet dps? Lets say you've got two weapons that do the same amount of damage, one with CD and one without any, are they equal or is the CD one better. Particularly for the Archon build if anyone knows for sure.
You guys are fucking awesome. Thanks so much for the help. I just bought my weapon for 20mil and my rings but I'm fine selling them back. I'll get the zuni pox and look around for more all res. I've got 10 mil right now to make up for a loss on my wep or rings now too.
I am gearing up to hit paragon 100 before RoS comes out and would like some help on how to upgrade my gear. I've got an archon wizard and could really use your help figuring out what to upgrade. I'm not sure if I should just look for better versions of the legendaries I have or try and buy lacunis for movement speed instead of my inna's pants, or get tal rasha's chest instead of zuni's. Any help at all is appreciated. Currently I can farm mp 5-6 but I die if I get rammed by the savage beasts in Act 1 so I'd like to get more EHP.
I'm having trouble figuring out what to buy on the steam sale and thought I'd turn to my favorite community for help. I've done some research on the games but am finding way to much conflicting info.
I've got 30 dollars to spend. The games I'm interested in are
Bioshock Infinite: 30$
Borderlands 2 : 10$*
Dishonored: 10$*
Mark of the Ninja: 6$*
Dragon Age: Origins: 8$
*These games are likely to hit this price during the steam sale
Give me your best combinations! Thanks so much for your help
I'm an Archon Wizard pulling like 200k dps buffed but I still use blood magic(it gives you 1.5% loh). At this point I've got two items and one can get me 3000 life(I've got 30k) and the other can get me 180 LOH(I only have blood magic). They're roughly the same price.
I was wondering how these are comparable, or if there's just a required amount?
Furthermore, I've been considering getting life-steal on my weapon. I can get 2.5% but it will cost me 14k dps. Would you consider that worth it?
I'm paragon farming right now, though I do like getting legendaries.... I generally do MP2 and tend to die once a run but I don't really mind that. I know I wouldn't die if I did MP1 but it's just to fast a run then.
Lol I realize I shouldn't have put Halo 4 up there since noone has played it yet. I'm feeling darksouls since everyone says they enjoyed learning and adapting which is my style.
I just finished everything I want to do with Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2. Both were amazing games but ultimately lacked a certain amount of fulfillment. I just can't take another grind run and neither have any pvp......
I really need some help deciding which game to get. I'm posting here because I think the D3 community gives great game advice. There are four games out right now that I think will cover that fulfillment for me and I was wondering what recommendations people had for which to buy. I've got a PC and Xbox 360 for different versions. I'm looking for a sense of "ahh that was a good game" where I feel I need actual skill to beat it.
The four games are. . .
Darksouls vs Halo 4 vs Darksiders 2 vs Dishonored
I need to say this. I am tired of Diablo 3, and frankly their constant patching isn't helping me. I feel like there's no point playing because by the time I get the gear they'll just nerf my desired stats. This was proven true by the recent patch notes destroying both WW barbs and Crit Mass Wizards(I play wizard).
I have a friend who says he'll buy me TL2 if I give him my account. I was wondering if anyone on Diablofans had played TL2 and could tell me a little bit about it. I loved the first Torchlight and am I'm looking for the play-all-day longevity of the earlier Diablo games. I am worried that the game may lack Diablo addictiveness because the community won't be there to push me onward.
Frankly I see this 1.05 patch rush as a way to stop people from switching to TL2 so Blizz can make its RMAH money. They did the same thing for GW and Blizzard never puts out patches right after another, though they're making it seem like they will. Just looking for feedback, please no flames. I'm just kind of fed of with Blizzard.
Feel how you want about D3 I can't stop you, but know this; It was constant patching and an expansion that turned D2 from a not very in depth game into one of the best ARPGS ever made.
I'd also like to point out that the nerf to WW barbs is almost non-existent in 105. They are cutting the proc chance of tornadoes from RLTW in half, yes. But they are also cutting the cost of WW in half, and quadrupling the amount of fury gained from the relentless (?) passive. If you use LS instead of LoH the only thing the RLTW passive nerf does it reduce your fury gained, which as mentioned above won't be a problem.
Also, unless I missed something there isn't going to be any nerf to CM wizards in 105. If you are referring to the earlier nerf remember that it didn't kill the build at all - people still choose that or archon builds.
TL2 is a good thunder storm / power's out game, but it really doesn't have any staying power. If you really want to play it I say just buy it but keep your D3 account, I mean TL2 is only like 20$
Either way D3 is going to only get bigger and better. If you're bored take some time off, play TL2 like you want, give it some time =D
They're cutting the armor bonus from energy armor in half. Crit mass is actually extremely armor/resist dependent.
