Active Skills:
This build is based on pets as main defensive line ( having http://eu.battle.net...mon-zombie-dogs whit the life litch rune and http://eu.battle.net...tive/gargantuan whit Humongoid ability for AoE damage while he is the main meat shield). My line of thinking in this is somewhat of the necro whit the summonmancer concept. Have some big bad pets to defend and punish your enemies.
Well whit the WD thats not posible in the same amount since we can only have a certain amount of pets.
Then as my 2nd part i go for some snaring ( http://eu.battle.net...or/active/haunt whit Grasping Spirit )and AoE crowd controll ( http://eu.battle.net.../active/horrify whit Phobia ) to keep my char safe. My line of thinking in choosing Horrify in stead of Mass confusin is the fact that i can have a higher uptime on Horrify that along whit the Phobia rune shuld make it posible to keep Horrify up in most situations where enemies have come close to me.
Last but not least, my damaging abilities.
Loctust Swarm (http://eu.battle.net...ve/locust-swarm) whit the Pestilence rune to keep lots of mobs poisond, and whit the posibility of spreading along to aditional mobs for good AoE. This along whit my Haunt witch also jumps shuld make for good both single and AoE damage.
Then i have Acid Cloud (http://eu.battle.net...tive/acid-cloud) whit the Acid Rain Rune, this to have a stationary AoE that will be even more effective whit fear + pets + Snare. Hopfully this will create a deadly combo that will keep my char safe + keep enemies dying fast
Passive skills:
Zombie Handler: This is a no brainer since i want to have my pets as a defensive line. It alows for more pets and stronger pets in the form of more HP witch will make em better and more reliable tanks for me
Fierce Loyalty: Good for my pets alows me to get my health regen and hopfully il get some nice thorns items witch alow em to gain a pasive dps as enemies dig into em
Grave Injustice: Now this one is a key for me. Hopfully it will keep my Horrify cd low as i want it for aoe CC and it will help give my pets and me more hp / mana witch is key in being able to slay demones 24/7 with out having to stop every 2 mins for mana or hp
This is my first planed WD build. I think it will work nicley depending on gear etc.
I think this is a amazing idea. There will as stated above be more spawns of rare and champions then just the same boss. Aslo it will make people explore the maps, the extra catacombs caves etc, since they tend to hold powerfull rare's and champions. This in turn will make farming items less monotone and prevent the constant find shortest way to last boss kill rins repeat. This in turn will make the stress for creating new games less exessive.
That being said, i wuld love to see the bosses having some uncie and cool drops, like a higher probability of droping high end runes or having a increased drop chance for certain legendarys. Like the good old ones, Maras, SoJ, Grandfather, Windforce Bul'katos etc. This wuld make it a valid option to just farm the boss if those are the specific items you look for, but if you want a good chance for other goodies and set items its a better and more efficient way to go explore the map before going for the end bosses.
