I like the original idea, think it would work well having buffs between elites. though i think after the original ideas the rest of them went down hill pretty fast.
still think they should modify the way the negative ones work now too, waller in particular, at least give walls hit points or prevent them from trapping you with it.
I tried all this stuff with NVidia card and options still no dice, it just lags where i can run to the edge of the map and everything, maybe more to do with Australia than the card I reckon as i tried lowest possible settings and it seemed exactly the same despite a better frame rate.

I am also getting the same issue GT525M seems like it must be the card, runs exactly the same on Hi/Low detail and no matter how full the party is. pretty sure i have Ambient Occlusion set to on though so will try that first. though it doesn't seem like a stutter it looks like its running fine just its seperate from the server as it seems like a massive lag spike???

Their company got bought out by a heartless corporation, which sucked the life out of a beautiful small company, it happens every day, just not usualy to the companies we loved and grew with.
This has nothing to do with being "bought out", d2 was unplayable at release...WOW was nasty for a few weeks back in 04.
nah DIablo 2 was playable as there was ingle player, D3 is actually un-playable.
It seems as though MF will be very rewarding for D3 if you can get a good MF group together. Especially since each person gets their own set of drops
not true as it's devided, will be far better running around alone with good MF, if you are in a squad and everyone has good MF you will get more drops. but if you have the highest (technically) you are losing items to your squad mates.
in my experience all the things you did leading up to the game will go out the window on the day of release and things like "why don't you do those things anymore" start coming out of the woodwork. if anything you may very well have made it worse for yourself.

was having a play around on the weekend, still get massive latency issues but here are some options that fixed my framerate.
Optical Occlusion - OFF
Pre Rendered Frames - 0
Threaded Optimization - OFF
I have done a few other things but the Threaded Optimization was what fixed the stuttering.

good to see so many people played the original diablo even though they would have been very young when it was released 16 years ago.
Yea WD, the slow skills and summons will greatly benefit both other characters, WD is going to be awesome for squad play.
competition win is genius though.
Besides, PVP won't even be fun until people have invested weeks in making characters that can actually compete.
