Eat it haters, Even more soild stuff coming to D3. Like i said at the very start. Rome wasnt built in a day, D2 sucked intill LoD came out for it, It took WoW 7 years but they finally got transmog. I dont get where people think games are going to be perfect at launch. Nice to see i was right again, but hey thats allways for me
Hell, I don't know, maybe because people expect to pay for a finished product, and not have a company use its customers as beta testers, especially when they DID have a beta (which only went to lvl13 but that was THEIR choice) and supposedly had internal testing.
Yeah....people and their weird concepts of finished products.....
Let it be a lesson to all game companies: if you truly want to test your game before launching it (and not just say that you tested it), hire some hardcore gamers, give them a couple of months to play the game to the max, make them write down every single little thing wrong with it, make them sign NDA's, then fix the damn thing. And THEN release it.
Sadly, this is how all products are being made now. Get the product out there as quick as possible to get some money, then have the users of the product find all the bugs and release a patch.
Lots cheaper than paying engineers.
I might be showing my age, but I remember when a product was released, it worked, right out of the box.
Pre-internet days, a manufacturer would test a product extensively prior to release as a recall was costly, in money and reputation.

What I would like to see is that monster actually drop items they "could" wear... I still cant understand how a ghost can drop an armor, or a monster that attacks me with a spear to drop a bow... let him drop a spear... I know there are a lot of monsters where nothing makes sense to drop, because we're are humans and they are monsters and we dont have much in common...
Edit:
It would also be nice if class specific items would not have other classes stats. I know they all add a little value to your sheet, but a wand with +200 str is crap.

Anywho......I find it..... curious, how so many people blame Blizz for the lack of social, yet when you go into pub games NOBODY talks, almost never. I find myself almost confused in the rare event that someone does talk. It's not even possible to get two monks or two barbs to not use the same buff, they won't respond.
....and then we have this..... purposefully luring people to their deaths, which further encourages people to not socialize.
It's not Blizzard's fault that social is dead. It's "your" fault, people.

The maggots are there on purpose, they eat dead flesh to help infections that won't heal. They won't eat any living tissue, only dead. They're raised in sterile conditions specifically for medical purposes. I saw in on Discovery channel.

Best show on TV right now. Too bad we have to wait till fall for more episodes. What the hell is going on with TV shows nowadays?
Used to be 26 episodes per season. Now those lazy asses get away with 12. WTF?!

Strafe. I loved that skill with enough IAS. Like a machine gun. Add in something to give a chance to cast amplify damage and monsters just fall down. :Thumbs Up:

Don't forget grailing. I played D2 single player mostly, and after 10 years of on again, off again playing (with a few mat/pats), I haven't found half of the uniques. Never found a SOJ either. Collecting is one of the things I enjoyed about D2, and It kept me playing for a long time.

Why drop whites if they have no use? If you can't salvage, and they said they will sell for very little, they just clutter the ground, like the cow level.
I really liked the user assignment of stats in D2, it made you think about where you were taking your character, and I predict assignable skill points coming back, to make leveling up more rewarding for levels 30-60.
Get rid of different resource systems for each class and go back to mana, as that's really all they are anyway, but make the need for mana more important than just a resource for skills. Give a reason to put points into it, like linking it to certain skills damage, ie more mana = more damage.
I never liked the idea of dropping your items into a bag or cube or whatever and getting gold. Like your "magic bag" would know the value of an item. Just never made any sense to me, but then again, neither did a Quill Rat dropping a sword. Just sayin...
I'm glad to see TP's back, but bring back ID scrolls too, or have Cain do it. Making you stand there for a few seconds "to study it, that's how badass you are now" seems lame.
And a hotkey potion button smells of console to me, which I'm actually looking forward to, as I don't have a computer that will run D3, except the media server already attached to the TV, and if i'm going to play on the TV, i'd rather do it with a controller than balance a keyboard and mouse on my lap.
And we're not seeing the game till christmas.

First, I was trolling a bit there, I apologize. Don't drink and post, kids.
Second, yeah, I know a PC will do more than a console, bit it's not about horsepower, it's about comfort.
Relaxing on the couch with a controller is just better than some wonky keyboard and mouse setup.
Now, if I had a laptop that could run D3, honestly, that would be my preference, but I don't.
The computer hooked up to my TV now might run it, but I doubt it, as it's really just a media server.
So without a console version, I'm sorta outa options, as the idea of buying a new computer just to play D3 seems silly, but I'll probably do it.

OK, lets be honest. This all comes down to PC fanboys thinking you don't deserve to play the game unless you paid as much for a rig as they did. Listen, if you don't want a console version, don't buy it. If you think the PC version has been "dumbed down" to accommodate a console version, don't buy it. It's not YOUR game, it's Blizzards, so pipe down already. It seems that everyone who has played the beta loves it, so, really, give it up already. It is what it is. A console version is gonna happen, get used to it, and it'll be awesome. If it bothers you so much, start your own game company and make a your own PC only game. I'm sure it will be awesome and i'll be totally jealous and admit you were right all along, but i'll be stuck playing a totally lame D3 on my Xbox, hooked up to my 73" TV.

Lets see it, please.
Now THAT'S a cinematic I'd like to see.
And everyone should be responsible for their actions, regardless of what is in their system.
