e: really bliz should make it so that the stack meets the $1 transaction fee. So as long as you're selling enough of the commodity to make more than a dollar off the stack they should allow it. Or have a percentage based fee.
The problem I see with this on inferno is that you have 1 spell that takes 1,5 second to land and do dmg and another that you need to channel.
The issue is that you cant rly stand still, that will result in death
...I could be wrong, but from my exp in inferno(currently on last boss of act 2) I would never survive with 1 channel spell and 1 that takes time to do dmg.
Yeah I was a little concerned about having to stand still for Ray of Frost. Though I never really have a problem landing comet. So far in Hell I've been having good luck using frost nova to freeze enemies and then blasting them with two comets.
Critique my cold blooded build please. I'm just now starting Hell and this has served me well in Nightmare; guess I just want some feedback from you fine folks so I can adapt my play style before I attempt Inferno.
Because it doesn't matter, because it isn't a competition, because there is no way to prove it was you, because the game doesn't include any mechanism of recording that you were first. Anybody could just fake it after the fact with very little effort.
I'm sure Inferno has an achievement, and achievements have unlock dates. It is tracked in the game, just not tracked globally across the player base. Honestly your world would be no different if you never saw this thread.

Does anyone else have issues giving them your battletag? I mean it literally links to your account and even with authenticater I'm not trusting some new site with unknown security with that info.

I don't remember exactly where but didn't Jay Wilson/Bash (or some other blue) comment that groups roles such as tanks and healers aren't very prevalent in Diablo 3? The quote was something to the effect of "every class is a demon slaying class."
I'm sure there will be plenty of viable inferno groups that don't use the MMO paradigm.
Competitive gaming appeals to people. Look how many 'speed runs' of classic Nintendo games exist on YouTube. If a group of players wants to be competitive about Diablo 3 let them, you're not being forced to participate or even acknowledge their existence.
I personally welcome it because it helps build the community around a game I hope to play for years.

This answer is correct, but not complete. There are FOUR different ways only one dog could respawn and just like calcualting probability of throwing two dice (or four in this case) we need to sum up the probabilties of each permutation.
Since our 'dice rolls' are identical each time we can just multiply the above result by 4 to get the correct anwser of 38.4%
The reason I didn't need to do this for 'all dogs' or 'no dogs' is becauase there is only one permutation for those cases.
Isn't math great?

For instance, a single die has a 1/6th (1 in 6) chance of coming up a 3 when you roll it. To figure out the probability of rolling two threes, just multiply 1/6th by 1/6th which is 1/36.
With a 35% chance of resurrecting, if all dogs die at the same time, the calculation for getting four resurrections in a row is .35 multiplied by itself 4 times.

(7/20)^4 = 2401/160000 = .015 = 1.5%
For none resurrecting, we're interested in the chances of a resurrection NOT happening. The chances of that are 1 - .35 or .65 (65%).
