Manticore becomes better once you get 2 sockets. Other benefits to it are that its minimum damage is higher, so on average, your base damage rolls will be bigger and translate into higher crits. The fact that none of your bows have dex on them is not great. The benefit from going a two hander is that you can get 200 odd dex on a quiver pretty cheap and combine it with some vit/CC/disc for more survivability and a bit of dam.
1 handers can compete if you have godly ones, as in socket, natural CD and high dex plus high dps, which are pretty expensive but fun to play with, otherwise a 2 hander wins and generally xbows > bows but always depends on the rolls on the items.
I'd try and sell your windforce and manticore put the money from both into a better crossbow. With the amount you'd get you could probably get a 1100-1200dps xbow with 200+ dex on it and a socket. Or even a double socket manticore if you're lucky
Hey guys
At the moment I'm running with a pretty standard hungering arrow/ball lightning/gloom build, which is fine for grinding mobs, but I'm wondering what people are using to kill uber's? I'm guessing a combo of survivability and burst damage is probably best? maybe bola with final rune and cluster arrow?

At the moment, I've only done one run at mp4 and it was pretty straight forward. I want to ramp up the mp to 6-7 thought.
Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated!
I agree, xbows are super cheap these days with the influx of decent manticores on the market. Anything under 1200dps is not going to cost an arm and a leg
Holy shit that's a nice hellfire ring Skoupidi. I run with night stalker, 48% crit and new nats and in 1.05 it's good. you don't even need preparation anymore. The fights last long enough that I've only run out of discipline once and that's cos I was overspamming gloom, since I'm not quite used to it lasting 5 seconds at the moment. That said, with legacy nats, you'd get to free up another skill spot since you would need discipline regen on your skill bar, so apart from the slightly better stats on the new one, I reckon the legacy is still far superior
I'm curious about this as well. I'm have 40% cc and 300% crit damage with about 1700 total dex and a 1100dps 2h xbow, and I'm only pushing 55-60k dps w/o sharpshooter. I think back in the day, before they nerfed IAS, it was a lot easier to get stupidly high dps, but I still wonder what else I need to get up to 100k dps.
