I'm still convinced that Diablo's successor isn't supposed to look like this. They've got a point when they say that they wanna achieve a timeless look, but when the game already looks worse than the six, I repeat: SIX years old Titan Quest, I don't think it's really an achievement. On the contrary: It IS supposed to have realisticly drawn environment with very crisp textures. There are browser-games out there which do it better than Diablo3 and not suprisingly, they look more like diablo.
Imo every class looks it has plenty of viable builds that would be capable of being played in inferno provided the players has adequate skill and gear.....which is exactly what their goal is.
No class as far as I can tell has any glaring weaknesses. Each has it's strengths, but they all look viable to me.

ROFL OP. Wizard is probably the strongest class against the Skeleton King next to a warrior. Arcane orb + Obliteration rune and use the electricity for 3x 110% damage i think it is? SK will drop quickly.
Last patch it was solid. In the current patch, it's very weak.
And I loved it before even witout the increased AOE rune. But now, it seem it's doing less
damage than it should and did before. I've been noticing this for the past few days, It's
so obvious too, an example: I can one shot a skeleton with hungering arrow (115% WD
without a pierce) but I need at least TWO bola shots (130% WD to the main target) to kill
the exact same monster.
What's up with that?
Even if it does less damage (I'm not saying it should, but even if in release it does), Bola Shot was more of a utility shot anyway. It's meant to be an AOE type of shot, and in general to keep people from just spamming one skill to clear every enemy on the map, AOE type of skills tend to be a little weaker in damage to the main target, but make up for it by having higher cumulative damage to the whole group. Which I think is fine, because the Demon Hunter has other fancy skills that deserve some use too!
On a seperate note, I think the runes for Bola Shot are very mediocre at best.

I would agree with you except every other class has incredibly powerful AOE abilities. Monks can decimate small packs of mobs, barbarians cleave, wizards will annihilate small packs of mobs, and witch doctors have their little buddies to tear apart everything and explode on call. Demon hunters are just far behind the pack on overall damage throughput, both single target and AOE

Would love to know what games these are.
Except I think warriors currently dominate.
