What I hope they talk about:
- Reforging
- Banners. Are they going to serve a greater purpose?
- The interface for the main menu, whether it will be changed at all. I remember hearing some rumors that they were thinking of taking the D2 path, with the characters down the bottom and everything. Not to mention there's been quite a bit of community input for making such a change too.
- Boss execution animations, I apologize I forgot the actual name of it. What I mean is I hope they talk about whether they will bring back or implement similar animations to the animation that is played when the barbarian get's picked up and bitten in half by the Siegebreaker.
That's all I can think of for now.
Thanks Ducha
Yeah the boss Fatalities, I think it had issues with regards to Hardcore players being 1 shot..
Banners - I hope they add the customisations that we saw in early development ...
So, I'm not the only one that doesn't remember we didn't get this...If I get a chance, will so be asking this to a dev while at BlizzCon!
No offense drj, but I'm barely able to follow your post. You might want to go back to it when you have time and make it more readable.
I'll say this though: from a purely aesthetic viewpoint, it makes no sense for the first difficulty level to be anything other than "Normal", since that's the standard against which you compare everything else. I suppose you could call it "Easy", but that wouldn't be very Diablo-ish.
Yeah sorry bout that, was more excited, and like I said just wanted to get out, did I mention I was at work....why do all ideas happen while at work.
Anyways, the heart of the idea was, I believed Torment being a fifth difficulty just be out there. I also think it being a Night. / Hell replacement be okay, but eh feel give people starting the game a better feeling than just, "normal"
Just really hard to figure something out that isn't odd for the progression of current level 60s vs. new 60s (that have completed inferno) vs new 60s that haven't. all just wierd pickle.
Pulled my post to work on, or just wait till BlizCon, which ever happens first he he.
Well for right now, I'm getting my Wizard up to Paragon 100. Hit 92 yesterday. The slug is in full swing, but managing to do archon pretty well on MP6 with almost maxed out +XP (Hellfire Ring + Leorics + Helm ruby)
After that, my poor WD that's been sitting at level 9, my last class to get to 60 will be next (have almost all the gear for it found during Paragon leveling, so, why not I say!
lastly, I have been picking up Flawless gems like a mad man, will have most likely 600-700 of each by P 100. Going to turn them into a respectable level, make use of AH for tomes now while I can.
After that...TAKE A BREAK...wrists, back can use it. Doesn't help that my job is AutoCAD drafting than doing site/D3 farming.
Will be looking forward to RoS News at BlizzCon though, will be in attendance.
Almost any Skorn user with 100% chd emerald will be over 250% chd.
As i understood the datamined strings the cap counts ONLY for items.
So the questions is: Are socketed gems in items a seperate entity with a seperate cap ?
hmmm interesting, interesting indeed. This is one of those questions that (in good Blizzard fashion) could go either way.
The Gem drops into the item, and increases the items stats, or gives it new stats...
The Gem becomes a unique addition, through, but not included on the item...
I'm inclined to think it would count as, "part of the item" than separate, but we don't know till we know. Good question there.
Gratz and thank you!
regardless, it's been an awesome ride following : D
Much love for keeping the RoS art style
Love all the ideas
Will be using what ever means I have as a fellow fansite owner to get this to the right people to further the cause!
Brothers to arms!

Sorry for the confusing post though.

It's one hell of a journey, and hope you found it enjoyable!
That's one heck of a level up screenshot too! Best of luck on next steps!
Wouldn't go too far with that. Only thing significant is that we are months exactly from this happening.
