Low MF, yet I found 5 legendaries in act 2 MP3 in about 2 hours. Was really happy about it. Found that unique 2nd sword that summons demons, has alot of int so I gave it to my follower. Also found a high dex Unity which I sold. =)
Trying to get a quick farm in for D3, get 5 stack in about 10 minutes, play for another 10 minutes, have to go afk for a couple minutes, come back to disconnect, wasting my time. repeat 100x, no fun = stupid and noob game
Can anyone care to explain to me how people are selling Radiant Star gems at prices that don't make them a profit? Just crafting alone ends up being around 15.4 million gold, and I see Topaz and Amethyst going for 12.5million a piece. Even emerald and ruby, at 17million, don't end up with a profit with the 15% cut. So how are people selling so cheap? Am I missing something entirely that bypasses the crafting cost?
I hated the change they did to unique monsters. First time they changed it, I was farming pony level and found those 3 billies running around, after 4-5 deaths, I finally managed to kill them and you know what I got for a reward?(I had 5NV too) 30 gold.
It's always comes down to playing smart and having luck. Fastest elite farming routes, playing the AH well, and getting those drops that sell for alot. Like my brother, he's never found anything that has sold for more than a million, and he's not really hardcore enough to care about the drops, yet he found a necklace last night that can sell for 50+ million alone.
I played Diablo 2 just before Diablo 3's release. The only things I liked about Diablo 3 over Diablo 2 was graphics(come on that's a given), Act 3 wasn't a nightmare ;), and Hireling's Storyline. Everything else sadly just wasn't my cup of tea.

OT: Some of these changes I love, especially MF and GF not being shared in groups.
