What is the easiest zdps class to play for speed rifts in Season 5?
I'm a below average skilled casual looking to get into some speed rifts so whichever role is the easiest / least critical would be best.
Thanks in advance for suggestions
Frankly, there is a stark difference between a good and bad zdps and it is very noticeable. The other problem you will run in to is lack of paragon. A good twister wiz is not going to waste their time with bad low paragon zdps. It wont be efficient for them and the group revolves around their potential. If you are looking to farm paragon you are behind the curve for the current season. Most clans wont even look at you unless you have 1k paragon today and that will go up to 1.1k by next week and continue to go up throughout the season.
I do not want to be discouraging to you but the reality is even good zdps with proper augments and leveled gems have a hard time finding a stable twist wiz.
TL:DR if you have a job forget ladders even exist.
"sigh" Sometimes i miss being a teenager.
Suprised there's no posts about this. Not fanboying or anything, i hate Gabynator's attitude but considering its the game's highest difficulty, thought it would be kind of a big deal?
Since having an intelligent discussion is virtually impossible on official forums, tempting my chance here.
For some reason i absolutly hate playing with Nether Tentacles, its slow, its boring and i feel its going to get hit by the nerfbat soon. Also feel like it would belong more in the Witch Doctor's asset than ours. Also prolly because i was an hipster in another life or something.
Sadly i just feel virtually all our other Hatred dumps are lackluster, i've seen many boss kill videos from DHs that just spams Bola Shot/Bitter Pills and Hungering Arrow/Devouring Arrow.
Devouring Arrow def seems like one of our best single target ability.
Only other decent option seems to be Spike Traps/Scatter so decided to try to make a build based around it, i've also seen a similar builds posted before but it didn't include Vault, wich i can't live without :(.
Pull a pack -> place 3 Caltrops/Jagged Spike on top of each other + Spike traps and stand on it, when mobs reach me, SS if needed -> vault out of it put down more Caltrops/spike traps, rinse repeat. Fairly successful in A2 inferno so far.
Biggest problem is that while the build doesn't use much Hatred, its INSANELY Discipline heavy, wich explains the reasons for Perfectionist in it (OMG Y U NO USE SAME PASSIVES AS 99% OTHER DRONES, answer : cause i like thinking for myself). I'm also playing this build with 54 max Discipline (8 from xbow, 8 from cloak, 8 from quiver).
Hungering arrow is there mostly for single target damage and if i ever need to build Hatred for more Spike traps.
Also its not a good build for pointless DPS show-offs since the bonus from Cull the Weak doesn't show on the character sheet. I dropped Archery too cause atm i play with an 1hand xbow and i feel the bonus is weaker than the bonus from Sharpshooter, when i get a decent 2hand bow or xbow (bow is prolly the best for this build) i'm swapping them.
My gaming nickname is Griever, i've been playing games for multiple years now and have a fairly successfull background in Blizzard's game from Diablo 1 to Diablo 3 passing by World of Warcraft.
I'm currently an east-coast based college student, so i have quite a bit of free time.
I'm looking for a solid and dedicated group to progress into Inferno "legitimately" (chain corpse running or bugs to skip quests/acts). After clearing act 1 solo fairly easily wich bored me i decided to give a shot at Public games and i realised the game was much more entertaining in groups, sadly the environement in public games simply doesn't suit me, as i'm much more comfortable in an organised and performance focused group.
I'm currently fairly well geared with both crafters maxed (if they're ever useful to something).
Here's my stats and builds :
"Dungeon crawl" build (basically everything but bosses.)
These are the 2 main builds i figured but i tested a very high amount of different ones in Hell difficulty and higher, so i'm an highly adaptable player and will obviously optimise my character to increase the sucess of the entire group as much as possible. I also plan to mainly focus on the Demon Hunter class my entire D3 "career" as its the only class that remotelys "clicks" with me, except maybe a potential Monk alt at some point, so i'm aiming to play it at a very high skill level.
I'm also highly interested in PvP when it becomes availlable. I've been close to Gladiator many times and reached Grand Marshal/Hero of the alliance in World of Warcraft, so i'm an highly competitive person.
I'm usually availlable every nights from 5pm to 1am EST from Thursday to Sunday with some exceptions obviously, but if i commit to be on at a specific time, i will make sure to be there.
If you're an interesting and progression oriented group looking to add a reliable and skilled player to its roster, feel free to hit me up either in game (Battletag : Griever1994) or on Skype, where i'm virtually always on (if i'm away, just leave me a message and i will answer asap), Skype name Zergall1.
The STORY is short, but the story was never the strong point of any Diablo games or hack'N'slash in general.
The game is about trading and while steamrolling easy modes (Normal/NM) i highly doubt anyone will go trough Hell or Inferno under 20 hours on their first playtrough.
Back in D2 I popped my windows key off my keyboard with a screwdriver after it nearly got me killed. Haha.
Was playing HC with an old Keyboard that also suffered from this after losing a lvl 80-something to it. Hitting it when Burning Souls were around wasn't really good timing :(.
Got a mechanical keyboard i can disable the thing now tough so no problem :P.

And no the damn WD isn't a Necro or a proper replacement for it.

PTR ladder...
Add Griever1994.
Lets say i have 2 1hand Xbows with 600dps each, i use Spike Traps that deal 275% weapon damage.
Does it factor, both, just my main hand or a % of both?

Feel free to comment/discuss !
He mentioned they play in the Eastern timezone, so most likely US.
Feel free to add my Battletag (Griever1994) or my skype (Zergall1) to chat a bit.
