I remember old inferno madness. Soloing inferno with a DH 3 days after release, and doing like +100 trys in belial, just trying to do the perfect kill, with no adds nor aoe hitting me. It was awesome when it was done, the problem came with act3, even harder. Old times....
I also remember selling +900 dps blue bows or xbows for milions.
I'm sorry to bother but there is not any dynamic quest spot repositioning in this game. Quest locations and stuff is set when the game is created.
This is happening to you with the forged in battle quest because keeps lvl 1 is a small zone with little to no randomization, where this event tends to spawn at the end of the zone or close to.
FACT 1= After 123123 minutes wandering around the zone and failing to find the quest objective, blizzard points the objective to you wherever away it is.
FACT 2=Map generation is done when game is created, not during your map exploration.
I'm sorry but your paranoia is very wrong, but well, it's what paranoia is about.
That ring is gonna make things really overpowered in the future, when we all get every set and every piece.
I've been rolling around with the following, be warned of its awesomeness; 4 set bonus ARcanas Archon's set and 4 set bonus Tal Rasha + Glove of worship+40$ Cd reduction. Imagine an Archon teleporting around inside a bubble, firing its beams and throwing meteors from the sky nonstop.
It's very easy to farm gems that way, I can speedfarm any zone on t4.... My points is... just farm the game, you'll get gems, get some horadric caches, get its gems, play some rifts, get its gems, kill the goblins you see around and get its gems.
As you guys mentioned: You need to clear gamebefore doing Adventure mode. What I found on beta, unless they fixed it: You can speed clear act5 on normal sc and then go hardcore and do hc adventure mode. you won't need to clear the game a second time on hardcore.
You mean a system where getting FHR gear may not actually give you faster hit recovery because it didn't put you over a breakpoint? No thanks.
I rather enjoy this system where my gear does what it says and there aren't hidden numbers that make my gear lie to me.
Now we have got a fantastic stats sheet, where it could specify breakpoints.. Now we also have a boring system, which consist on get whatever stats increases sheet dps the most. It would be more fun to say: Hem, I 've got enought IAS or CRIt, so I must get aoe dmg or cold dmg or whatever.
They've done a really bad job at balancing all dps stats, CB included. WE should go back to D2 style breakpoints.. Everything would be more fun... Now it's just stack AS, ChC, ChCD or whatever... Imagine an Scenario with breakpoints. You could only have 35% ChC, 300% ChCD 20% IAS and 5% CB.. that would be more fun, you would need to find balance of all stats across your gear... not like now... that's a STACK HIGhEST ROLL AND GO IN.
No servers need to go ready. ROS is already downloader and patched and everything. It's just that ROS accounts will become active at 25th 00:00 and then, immediately, we'll be able to play ROS content.
I am pretty sure completing the campaign mode in SC does not unlock the adventure mode in HC, or? Like leveling your Artisans in SC doesn't give you access to them in HC etc. Could be wrong though but I doubt it works like what you describe.
Awesome, leveling alts will be ultra fun, probly leveling them at torment 2-3-4 or something? lol I still got some hc chars to level and the new crusaders. I'm Scared of the amount of money I'll spend on the mystic in order to get -30 level req rolls.
My plan is to play softcore, till I complete history mode, so I can unlock adventure mode for hardcore chars and get used to new boss mechanics etcs.
Then I'll just lvl to 70 my hc chars playing adventure mode, as soon as I get bored and I get some of the new gems, I'll make my first crusader and twink it with high level rubies.
Then probly I'll get back to my copy-softcore chars in order to test difficulty on torment etc, so I can practice for my hc chars on torment.
You should go to the d3 rawr webpage.
And Compare items and Bloodthrist combos. How much dps do you need to have as much life gained per second as you have now :=)
LovinLoving D3 here too. As many people above said... We grow up and get tired of the time consuming mmorpgs, WoW specially. Then we get Diablo 3, pure casual fun... And more to come. PVP will be awesome, they have been tweaking it on internal testing since launch and we all have seen it on videos from BlizzCon.
