I heard Movement Speed might affect how many Tornados your Sprint drops and how close they drop, that true? Cuz it seems that I have to run REALLY wide, for Tornados to spawn... Am I doing it wrong, or just not enough Movement Speed? (+12% on Boots)
I got a little bored of totally wrecking face and getting huge crits using a 2H Furious Charge/Rend build, so I decided to try my hand at a Double Tornado build for fun.
Since the gear is pretty much the same, I just got new weapons and switched a couple gear pieces around. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything important. Maybe I don't have enough movement speed or aspd?
They're upping base survivability, but reducing defensive abilities effectiveness. I think it is a good idea.
Allows for more freedom in builds, and might make some classes actually viable *cough* DH *cough*.
I think by "some assembly required" it's gonna be a recipe similar to the Staff of Herding (Pony Level.)
assuming it is released before Diablo 4, will make it into a legendary game.
There won't be a Diablo 4, why won't you kiddies understand this? D2 was out for over a decade before getting a Sequel. I think Diablo 3 will follow in the example of WoW/SC, they will keep releasing expansions for it and a true "sequel" will never come.
I haven't tried Act III yet as I think I need more hp. It depends on what you can afford, but I'd say the minimum you should look for in a 2h weapon is 950+ dps, 5.8%+ Lifesteal, ~100% Critical Damage, and a Socket.

That's my profile. I do use Leap and Ancient Spear. I'm going to change Battle Rage to War Cry-Impunity, and probably take Nerves of Steel instead of Bloodthirst.
I find that Ancient Spear-Dread Spear is a very good option to use on ranged mobs, and if it crits it usually 1-shots and heals you for full hp. And can help pull back an ungrouped Rare mob back in so you can Rend the whole group.
I just started Inferno, and I have 25k HP, like 600 Resists, 34% Crit, 272% Crit Damage, 11% Lifesteal, 30k dps, and around 57% reduction from Armor.
Will I be okay for Act III, or do I need more HP? I find that usually surviving comes down to can your Rend out heal the Rare/Elite's damage, or if you manage to Rend before getting cc'd...
You could be farming Hell Cow Level for a WHOLE day, and only go from level 77-78... And that was as an op Sorc.
Level 77-78 in d2 would be something like 3 or 4 baal runs in a full game wich takes maybe 10-15 minutes. For any class.
Paragon leveling in general is much much slower than leveling in d2. In d2 it was relatively easy to get to level 85 the first day of a ladder reset and be level 90 the next day. Leveling did not become slow before in the mid 90's. As an example hell baal runs could take you from level 60 to 70 in less than an hour with no problem. In that time most people in paragon level 20+ would not even be able to get 1 level by farming act3 in good gear.
Did we play the same game? o_0
Granted it was over 11 years ago, and my long-term memory is quite wretched, but I remember leveling taking a really long time in Diablo 2.
(Though by a "WHOLE day", I meant more like 4 runs. I was exaggerating.. xD)
I'd be too scared out of my mind to ever consider even stepping foot into Inferno on a Hardcore character...
One nasty pack of Arcane Enchanted + Waller/Jailer, and it's goodbye hours of your life >_<
The "impossible concept" thing is also not an absolute. What may be impossible for one person is entirely possible for another. By your own admission at the rate you play you will never get P40+ so this sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
My good sir, you speak great wisdom... I realize the error of my thinking now. xD
Blizz said the time spent to reach Paragon level 100 should be roughly equivalant to reaching level 99 in Diablo 2. But seeing that people got to Paragon 100 as fast as they did, I think that's wrong.
Getting 99 in D2 took EONS! You could be farming Hell Cow Level for a WHOLE day, and only go from level 77-78... And that was as an op Sorc.
Blizz needs to either make Paragon exp more, or give us another 100 Paragon levels!
Because it's not fun, unless there is an impossible goal to strive towards for years.
yeah, i've been using this awesome build for a week or 2. Lifesteal is recommend, and atm i only got 2.80% lifesteal, from my belt.. would it be a good idea to buy a new 2hander with lifesteal on?
My current 2hand is:
1300dps
179 strenght
11% IAS
140% Natural crit
should i instead go for a 2hander like this:
1300dps
200 strenght
3-6 lifesteal
around same natural crit
maybe a socket
My Barb is only lvl 54 and in Hell. But I was having survivability issues (mostly cuz most of my gear was lvl 30 and had no resists, but still...), and when I got a 2hander with 5.8% life steal and a 2.5% Belt I really noticed a change. Before I was struggling to get into melee range to Rend to stay alive, and agaisnt Arcane Enchanted it was quite a problem. But now I've got gear my lvl with resistances, and 11% Lifesteal with Bloodthirst, and I just steamroll. Even my Cleaves heal me enough to keep me alive, and Rend is just overkill Lifesteal I use Ancient Spear - Dread Spear, mostly for fun/utility and also to pick off those pesky Wasps, and it heals me for all of my Life o_0

Thanks for any tips/suggestions ^.^

I just hope they address Monk's Spirit issues.
Imo most important stat for 2h weapon: Dps, Lifesteal, Critical Damage, Socket.

Which items should I focus on upgrading first?

I have +272% crit dmg, yet the difference between my critical/non-critical Rend ticks appears to be 3k (8k, 11k, if I recall correctly)
