1) It's fun! I have played all classes at max level. Something to do with commanding an army of zombie dogs and little dagger wielding psychos is very appealing. Former Necro player from original Diablos. Being a Master Manipulator of poison skills and doing damage over time also is very appealing.
2) I hit a brick wall on my original Vanilla class DH. I got to T4, maybe the intro to T5 and gear options went from fire build to almost needing 6 piece Marauders to play end game. (Which with over 200 hrs into RoS with the DH only found 2 pieces).
3) The build diversity that WD currently has. It's amazing how much 1 or two legendaries on this class makes it freaking awesome. Mask of Jeram, Tasker's, 4 Pc Zuni, SMK, Rheno Flayer, etc. The list goes on. Combine and match a handful of these legendaries and your skills and play style changes. I have had so much fun being able to swap gear out and still be able to stay on the same level playing field in T5 and T6, but have a completely different, yet effective build to experiment with.
I'm looking for 1 or 2 more piece of Nat's as I have only ever had 3 Slayers drop and nothing else. I have Marauder's Helm so looking for one more piece to put on my RRoG. Still have not found a Krider yet and would like one to mess around with different specs.
Also looking for another SoJ with some CC on it. Overall my gear allows easy T3 clears. I can do T4 and T5 with little struggle. T6 is a struggle and not not quite there yet. I play mostly Solo or with friends.
So I have been testing out the new and improved Demon Hunter Sentry. So today I dropped my first Sentry against a reflect damage mob. Every hit from my sentry was chunking my life away from reflect damage. Working as intended? Maybe?
If the Sentry acts as part of the Demon Hunter and I take hits from Reflect Damage, shouldn't the Sentry hits also return Life On Hit back to me. I don't know if this is a bug or inteded, but the Sentry should do both or neither. If I am taking hits from refelct damage from the sentry, it should retrun life on hit and life steal.
Hopefully this gets looked at because I really like the new playstyle with my sentry, but I feel its broken if I am taking damage from reflects damage and not getting any Life on Hit or life steal in retun.
Also with Shadow Prowler and Gloom up, Sentry hits dont seem to be returning the % damage back as life
I am still a skeptic about Magic Find. I've done Act 1 for some time now with 310% MF. When I get a 63 its usually garbage, when and if one even drops with the lower drop rates in Act 1.
I go full on glass cannon for Act 3. No MF gear so I only have 75% with 5 stacks of Neph. I have gotten some really nice ilvl 63 items recently. Actually 2 upgrades for my DH within the last week.
Been farming inferno for over 150 hours. On a scale I would say 80 percent Act 1, 5% Act 2, and 15% of Act 3. So far I have gotten better items in the little time I have spent in Act 3.
Maybe its a physiological thing with me, but personally I think MF does not work. I have read the post and countless threads of data people put in about MF. I still don't think MF is effective.
Is anyone still looking to stack attack speed items after nerf. I currently have about 10% total attack speed on items minus my quiver and no attack speed on my 1000 dps bow. Looking for a good Hellion right now, so I was looking to switch focus to crit dmg bonus and crit chance.
Thoughts? I have been thinking of running high dex, crit build and not focus on attack speed.
